I quickly want to thank Rockstar Book Tours for allowing me to be a part of this book tour and for graciously sending me the ebook to read and review for my review stop today.

I didn’t realize that once I started to read this that I would literally read it almost in one sitting. It was just the perfect book to read at this point in time because it was light and fun. I mean seriously reading a book that involves a character working at a children’s publishing house how can you not want to read it all at once? Plus it was funny and that was just what I needed when I read this.

Our main character is Amy. She is young and is celebrating her one-year anniversary of being divorced. As the book opens up Amy is reflecting on her ex and the things he never liked and Amy realizes that in hindsight she probably shouldn’t have married him in the first place seeing as they are so different. Amy knows moving forward she never wants to be with a guy like that.

I should mention that this is a retelling of Goldilocks but instead of the bears it’s men.

Amy is slowly dipping her toes into the dating pool. Surprisingly enough she manages to get three men that are interested in her. Each of the three is very interesting, to say the least. They each have their own unique charm about them. I definitely had a hard time picking the one I liked because each of them has something special about them. Which will Amy choose?

I have to mention that when I first read the synopsis for the book I instantly signed up because I loved the premise of it. Then when I received the email saying I was a part of the tour I didn’t reread the synopsis again because I wanted to go into the book blind and I am so happy that I didn’t reread it because I loved discovered that it was a retelling on my own.

Another thing I loved about the book was the Goldilocks theory which I thought was just something fake until I looked it up and its a real thing. It was very interesting to read and I definitely want to research this more.
