Glossybox November Edition

Glossy Box is my second favorite beauty box subsciption services out there. Although this month I was a little nervous because in October they announced that it was going to be $21/month and you know what that means with a price increase? Less products or even crappy products but I have to say I am impressed with this months box.

I am always a little jealous of the US Glossy Boxers because they always seem to get a Glossy Mag in their boxes. I really hope they continue this perhaps not with every box but at least four times a season.

With that being said, I was a litte diappointed with it because there was nothing really related to the items we got in our boxes or in our boxes. There was alot of higher end items which not all of us can afford.

As you can see Glossy Box went all holiday themed this month and I thought that was a really nice touch. The outer box remained the same it was just inside with the tissue paper, ribbob and sticker. I wonder if the other boxes will follow suit in December?
This is a close up of the sticker and tissue paper. I wish this picture did the packaging justice but it doesn’t. The box was heavy like it always has been. I think this is why I love Glossy Box, they seem to be constent with what they send out.

Are you ready to get into this month’s box? I sure am….
If you remember Kryolan sent us Glossy Boxer’s an exclusive item a few boxes (lipstick) and this month they sent us another exclusive item, its a blush. I honestly don’t have any blushes so having one that is an exclusive item makes me excited to try it out.
Its in the shade Glossy Rosewood (sorry for the blurry picture) Its a very nice shade when it swatches and I am sure it will look very nice.

Its a full size 2.5g and its $16.73

For some reason I have never seen this in the stores because I am sure I would have bought it had I. Its Maybelline’s MNY my gloss. It goes on clear with some glitter. I think it would look really nice on top of a lip stick. I like the consistency of it.

This is another full size item. Its 9ml for $7.49

I always get excited when the beauty boxes include a nail polish and finally someone got it right with sending something that is holiday-ish. Unlike another beauty box I got recently that sent me a summer shade that they classify as a holiday color and they continued to tell me to try it out saying I would like it, I did like it but wouldn’t wear it during the holidays because it was a summer shade.

Anyways this is a full size product. Its Nicole by OPI its in the Kardashian Kolor holiday shades collection. I haven’t bought or used anything in this line until now. (I am not a Kardashian fan!)

15ml for $10.99 and its in the shade A Gold Winter’s Night. I really like this and I am sure it will look really nice on top of a darker shade of polish since its a clear polish with glitter in it.

This is a new to me item. I have never heard or seen this around so I am excited to use this and as you know I love all kinds of bath products. Its Vitabath Moisturizing bath and shower gelee.

This is what I found online about this:
In the shower or bath, Vitabath moisturizing gelee gently cleanses with a luxurious, creamy lather. Nutrient-rich formulas contain Vitamins A and E and botanical extracts to help soothe, condition and moisturize the skin.

The classic Vitabath® moisturizing gelee has nearly twice the essential ingredients and half as much water as other brands. Quality ingredients and rich fragrances indulge the senses and nourish the skin for a relaxing and invigorating, at-home spa experience.

Benefit from the Fragrance Collection Body Wash Skin Nourishing Formula!

• Vitamin A, B3, B5, C & E
• Sulfate & Paraben Free
• Antioxidant Rich Superfruit Blend of Acai, Goji, Coffee Fruit, Noni, Pomegranate, Green Tea & Mangosteen
• No Petro-Chemicals or Triclosan
• Free of propylene glycol, DEA, TEA, mineral oils and silicone.

This is actually a full size item. 60g for $15.00 and 170g for $18.00. I got 60g. I love the smell and not sure what it is exactly since I can’t seem to find it on the bottle but looking on the website I think its this In Bloom BEACH BLOSSOM with Passion Flower Extract.

Another brand I know very well and really like is Curel. I know we have gotten similar in previous boxes but honestly I don’t mind I really like since its something I use all the time. This time we got hand & Cuticle Therapy Cream. Winter time is always brutal on my hands and I need something that will last with numerous hand washings and this does it.

This is another full size item. Its 100ml for $3.99

I believe I got this shampoo and conditioner in a previous box but honestly I don’t mind because I did use up the last bottle I got from a previous box and really liked it. I liked the smell and the way it made my hair feel after using it. This is actually on my list to repurchase when I run out of the ones I am have on hand.

The shampoo is 400ml for $9.99 (full size) and the sample is 89ml for $2.22
The conditioner is 400ml for $14.99 (full size) and the sample is 89ml for $3.36
The final item in the box was this Uber Loyalty card giving us 50% off online purchases. Not sure if this will be something I would use since I have to pay for shipping but I might hold on to it and check the site for sales or promos.
So the value of the box is almost $60 and thats not including the loyality card. As you can see the box did pay for itself and I am excited to use the items.

What did you get? What did you think?

Empties of November

I have decided to do something new  here on the blog and that is sharing with you the products I have used up through out the month. As you know I get tons a beauty boxes and samples through out the month and I need to become accountable for that and not just put them away.

So I have to apologize for the crappy photos. For some reason I thought they were clearer. Something I need to work on for next month.

This month we went through two bottles of bath & Body Works hand soaps. The first one is sweet pumpkin and the other is hot apple cider foam soap. We loved them both but I think my favorite is the hot apple cider. I still have a few more bottles in the cupboard.

This hot chocolate mask was a mess. If you happen to pick one up to use its really good but don’t use a white face cloth like I did. This will stain it even after washing in cold water. I liked this mask because it felt like it really cleaned my face and it left a nice soft smooth face. This might be something I would re-purchase after using up what I have now.

I also used up some of my fortune cookie items and they both were bath bombs I got in October Cram Your Face in my Sweet Pumpkin Pie and Cram Your Face in my Sweet Pumpkin Pie the pumpkin shaped one. I loved both of these items and this would be something I would repurchase.

Also used up were some items I got in the October Natural Beauty Box was Happy Pumpkin Exfoliating Mini Sugar Pumpkin Soap and Burst Organic Beauty Bar Love Bubbles Body Wash. I loved the smell of the pumpkin exfoliating soap it smelled like the spices you use for making pumpkin pie. I loved that one said was for exfoliating and the other side was smooth. I have to admit it took me a few times to get use to using it but after I did I loved it and I ended up using it every other day.

Burst Organic Beauty Bar Love Bubbles Body Wash was used on the days I didn’t use the exfoliating and I loved the smell (coconut & vanilla) and it lathered really well on my sponge. It was the perfect item for the cool fall November days.

I also used up another item I got in a sample and it was from Sampler Village and it was lotion from a Canadian Company called Me and the Boy. I loved this for the smell (cotton candy and citrus) and for the texture (it was like a whip cream) and it went on nice and not cakey or greasy. This was the perfect summer reminder scent. I managed to get three uses out of it.

Speaking of summer scents on one particularly cold November night I decided I wanted to soak in a hot tub and use something that was summer or fallish and I remembered the Yves Rocher Apple Delight bath fuzz so I popped that in and wow it was like being in a apple orchid. I loved that for awhile afterwards you could still smell this even when the water was long gone.

I also managed to use up an Algemarin foam bath (after getting one in a previous sample box I had to find this and I managed to find a pack at the dollar store so I picked up one) and at Walmart I found this stress away and it was perfect to unwind after a stressful day. These are all items that i would repurchase when I run out of what I currently have.

Many years ago I slipped at work and banged up my knee pretty bad and many years later I still suffer from aches and pains in the knee and I finally found something that works amazingly and its Aleve. I am so happy that they finally came to Canada.

One of the candles I got from Bath & Body Works was finally used and its Sweet Pumpkin. I love the way it burned (nice and smooth) and the scent it gave off. It was very much like pumpkin pie very warm and enticing. Although I have to say that one morning I forgot I was burning it and was like hmm I smell pumpkin pie I wonder where its coming from.

I had cleaned out a make up bag I took to NYC in June and stumbled upon this small Colgate Total toothpaste and figured I should use that up before it expired. I love going to the dentist because he always gives me these samples and I am finally making it a point to use them up. Thankfully I didn’t have to throw any away yet.  I love this tooth paste and its one I have repurchased and use.

I also got a sample of this Downy Unstoppable in the mail and i wish I could remember the scent but I can’t. Sadly this is something I wouldn’t repurchase because I discovered I am allergic to it. It had a nice scent.
I noticed this month I wore alot of nail polish (I think it was to distract from my pale white hands) so I wanted to finish up my cutex bottle (this has been open for about a year now and it was a small bottle) this would be something I would repurchase because you always need a nail polish remover.

I also made it a point to use up these little pouches of the wipes. When I got Julep in the past they sent out little wipes and I found out. It was an okay wipe it did remove the polish. Since its part of a subscription service I won’t be getting any more.

Another item that was from a beauty box was the LA Fresh ones. I liked the scent and it removed the polish since discovering you can only order online this won’t be something I would purchase.

The other wipes are from Walmart and I found them in the travel section (where you get mini’s of products) and I really like them and this would be something I would repurchase again. The wipes are soaked in solution and the polish comes over very well and in most cases with just one wipe of the nail.
This summer when we went to Lake George I made it a point to not travel with full size items so I found this Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner sample in my cupboard and figured I would use them up will months later I still had some left so I used them up. Not my favorite shampoo and conditioner because of my hair.

I was thrilled when I spotted this can of Frizz Ease John Frieda hair spray in the US that I had to pick it up. I love the John Frieda line for Frizzy hair. This is now my go to items in shampoo and conditioner as well as hair spray.

Another sample I really loved was the Fekkai I got in a beauty box recently. I managed to get two uses out of the shampoo and conditioner. I loved the scent and the way it made my hair feel. Upon checking them out online I saw they had a line for frizzy hair so I will be purchasing that very soon in the next few weeks when I finish up what I currently am using.

Another sample I got to use up was the Olay wipe and I like it. Not sure if it will be something I would repurchase only because there is so much out there but it was nice to try something different.

Sadly I had to throw away this Quo eye primer because it smelled weird. I don’t think I was more then half way through it so that was a disappointment considering what I paid for it.

Alot of the times I have to admit that I get lazy in removing my make up at night and instead of cleaning properly I use the make up remover wipes and I have to say that I am loving the Simple wipes and this was a pack I had from the summer that used up. I also tried out the Equate ones which weren’t my favorite as I found them to dry out really fast. I also made it a point to use up the sample ones I got and both are from a beauty box. LA Fresh I didn’t like at all and I think it was the lavendar scent that did it and the other was a bamboo one (which I can’t remember). I think for now I will stay with Simple unless I hear of some good recommendations. Do you have a favorite?
Don’t ask me why I picked this up because honestly I don’t know. I saw these at Walmart and was like wow eye brow shapers and its quick and easy. This would be perfect in between waxings on my brows. Well I took one out and would you believe that is just a piece of freaking tape that did nothing to remove hair  around my brow? I followed the instructions and in all honesty its just tape so sadly this went into the garbage and it will never be bought again.

So this is what I used this month. Not to bad eh? What about you? Did you get through your products this month?

Countdown to Christmas

Wow where did the time go? I can’t believe that tomorrow is December 1st. The last few months have flown by.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that starting tomorrow I will be doing a Christmas countdown. I have a whole bunch of fun things set to post through out the month. There will also we some scattered give aways through out the month as well.

Hanging with My Sister Haul

Its not very often that I get to go out shopping with my sister but when it does happen we always have so much fun.  Thankfully when she called me to see if I wanted to meet up and do some Christmas shopping it worked out. Although I have to admit that I am pretty much done mine.

We decided to meet at the mall just before opening to avoid the rush and the crowds. Parking can always be crazy at the mall this time of year and its always packed.

The first place we went to was Bath & Body Works. Our favorite.

I decided to pick up some winter/holiday soaps. The scents I got were: Snow Frosted Apple, Iced Gingerbread, Candy Cane Bliss, Fresh Sparkling Snow and Winter Spice and Vanilla. I just have to say that B&BW has the best scented soaps.
One of the reasons we wanted to go to B&BW was because they had the 4oz candles on sale buy one get one free and I also had a coupon that if you spent $10 you got a free 4oz candle so I picked up the following candles: Merry Cookie, Frosted Gingerbread, Peppermint Mocha, Winter Candy Apple and Twisted Peppermint. They all smell so delicious that I can ‘t wait to burn these.

I was also on the hunt for a nice Christmas shirt for Michael to wear on Christmas day and I found this one at Sears and I really like and I think it will look good on Christmas day.

After Sears we decide to go in and look around Forever 21. They day we were there, there was a sale and I spotted some things I just couldn’t pass up on.
The first thing that caught my eye was those cute owl pjs. Love them. It came with a tshirt and short. In that same section I spotted these owl pj pants. They are sort of a flannel. Then as we are getting ready to pay we spotted some really nice scarves and I am a sucker for a pretty scarf so I picked up a champagne colored one and this Tiffany blue one (sadly the picture makes them look another color). They are both sparkly and very long. I can’t wait to add them to my wardrobe.
I was looking at these items by the cash and I needed some stuff to put in a stocking stuffer so I grabbed them.

Not sure what shade these eye shadows are but they are really nice and I am really impressed with the pigmentation on them.

I have a weakness for Strawberry flavored Gloss.

One of my pet peeves is when items are marked with a shade so I have no idea what the following shades are but its in the Light Pink/Multi Color Collection

Turquoise Glitter, Purple Glitter and Rose Glitter
Pale Pink Glitter, Gold Glitter, Silver Glitter and Multi Color Glitter

After that we went into H&M and I can honestly say I have only been in a few times and nothing has ever caught up eye until today.
I thought this white top would be nice and it goes so well with the scarf I bought at Forever 21. It was quite sheer as you can see
So I picked up this tank top to do under it. I have worn it a few times and I really like.

Then the last place we went into was Sephora. I wanted to pick up my birthday gift from them. If you are a Beauty Insider you always get a birthday gift in your birth month.

So while I was in line I picked up two things. One was this foundation brush. I have a really good one that I use all the time but when I wash it I wanted a second one to have as a back up and that one was really cheap and junkie so I ditched it and figured I would pick this one up to try. The brush seems really nice. The other item I grabbed was the Jose Maran Bearnaked nail wipes. I thought this would be perfect to toss in my make up bag when I travel.
I was super excited for the Birthday gift because its something I have been wanting to try for the longest time but just couldn’t commit to the price tag.  Its from a company called Fresh and its Sugar Kisses Mini Lip Duo. Mini Sugar Rose its a tinted lip treatment and the other is a lip treatment and its nice that both are SPF 15.

I think that its really nice that Sephora does that for its clients and that they change it every year.

Then just before we called it a day, I was surprised with these wonderful goodies as a early bday present.
The first two essie’s were packaged together and they are in the shades A Cut Above & Eternal Optimist and the other essie is nothing else metals.
It was funny because these are words she is always telling me.
I have been raving about these color burst lipsticks by Revlon to her and this just happens to be one of her favorite shades so she thought I should try it to .
Its in shade Pink Truffle #001

Thanks hun I love the little goodies and spending the morning shopping and hanging with you. We will have to try to do it a little more often,

Book Spotlight| Mocktails & More

Title: Mocktails & More
Author: Julie Elsdon-Height
Pub Date: November 27, 2012

To Purchase the book: CLICK ON THIS

About the book:
Mocktails & More is the ultimate survival handbook for the hectic Holiday Season!

Julie Elsdon-Height, also know as Sober Julie on social media, is a humorous woman who shoots straight from the hip, sharing about her life of sobriety and looking to experience all of the joys life has to offer.

With Mocktails & More, Julie shares her favorite 20 Mocktail recipes each displayed with professional photography and tidbits of inspiration delivered in her humorous style.

And if this wasn’t enough, Julie has once again decided to step out of the box and invited Molson Coors Canada to come on board providing tips for making Responsible Choices over the Holidays. Molson Coors Canada’s brewmasters have reviewed Julie’s recipes and modified a select few to present Cocktail alternatives.

Mocktails & More is wonderfully thought-out, well written and will inspire you as you entertain over the Holidays.

I was thrilled to log onto my favorite Canadian facebook group tonight to discover one of the members in the group has written a cookbook. How awesome is that? Congrats Julie.
Finally there is a cocktail recipe book that doesn’t involve alchol. I love it. I always struggle trying to find good cocktail drinks that don’t involve alchol that everyone can enjoy. Knowing that Julie has personally created these 24 drinks makes me all the more excited to purchase this and perhaps a do a cocktail countdown in December. Just like the advent countdown calendars?

How does that sound?

So if you are looking for a great gift to give someone who enjoys cocktails (the non alcholic kind) then I highly recommend this book to offer as a gift.

December’s Empties

Welcome to my December Empties post. I am hoping that in the New Year that I will have a button for this monthly feature.

This is my second empties post and so far I am really liking this idea. It forces me to use up products instead of opening new ones and leaving the half filled ones sitting around or worse yet not being used.

I love seeing other beauty bloggers empties posts/vlogs because I have discovered some new items that I had wanted to try but never did because I wasn’t sure about them.

When I was getting ready to do this post I honestly thought I used up lot more products then I did. I guess that little basket sitting near my desk fooled me.

As you can see I grouped the pictures into groups to make this post easier to write.

This month we used alot of hand soap and that was due to the fact we were a little sick (colds) and we had company in as well so that tends to happen. The foam soap that was used was all from Bath and Body Works and they were Holly Berry Wreath, Snow Frosted Apple, Iced Ginger Bread and Winter Spice and Vanilla. I loved all the scents of the soaps but my absolute favorite was the Iced Gingerbread and Winter Spice. I would definitely repurchase all the soaps again.

Another soap we used up was the Lever 2000. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed how fast the bar soap now goes. For the longest time they seemed to last forever and now within three weeks its gone. I think from now on I will be using shower gel since it tends to last longer in the shower.

With having a cold I tend to take alot of hot baths to keep warm and I actually used up all my Lush hauls. I wish I would have marked them all down but I didn’t. Sorry but they were all fantastic and items I will be repurchasing. I am hoping to get to Lush again soon to stock up on a few more.

Another item I would repurchase if they still carry its Yves Rocher Apple Delight bath and shower gel. I loved it. It had a great lather and smelled so good. I love the smell of apples. I am hoping that this is still available.

On a recent visit to Sephora I was given a sample of Cake Sugar Cookie Shower gel and I loved it and this is another item I would purchase in a full size. It smells just like Sugar Cookies.

In the baggie beside the Cake sample was a sample of bath salts and I don’t know what it was but it was something I got from my Sampler Village October box and it was the bath salts from Skinny Dip Soaps. I really liked the smell.

Another item that was used from one of my sample bags in November was the dirt sweet & spicy sugar scrub. The smell was nice but I really didn’t like it. When I first used it I thought there was glass in it (I am blind as a bat in the shower) but it was a chuck of sugar. Although I really thought it would have melted but it didn’t. This is something I wouldn’t buy if I saw it.
This is just an assorted of items. I had run out of nail polish remover so I had to use up my wipes and I really like them and this is something I do repurchase when I go to Walmart. On the topic of wipes I bought some ELF nail polish remover pads and I have to say I am not a big fan of them. I thought they were rather small and I had to use several per hand. This is something I won’t repurchase.

On the topic of wipes when I was at Sephora I saw these by the cash (Express Cleaning Wipes) and this is the perfect thing to throw in a make up bag. I really liked them and they did what they claimed to do of removing make up even long wearing. I will be repurchasing them when I go on vacation.

This month I managed to use up alot of the samples I got and they were jergens daily moisture, (nothing special in my opinion, it was okay), I received the L’Occitane hand cream in a Sephora order and I was excited to try this because so many people love this brand (I was happy to try it out but I don’t think I would purchase this). I managed to use up another lotion I got in my sample box and its Sweet Pea Scented Goat’s Milk lotion. I thought the packaging was a little awkward because the lotion was a little more liquid compared to other lotions so when you snapped the lid closed some lotion would come out. It was a nice smell but I think I would have enjoyed it more had my hands not been so dry.

Another sample I got to use was the Tums Freshers. I normally don’t take antacids because of the chalky taste but I really liked this one and I plan to purchase this when I get the chance. I thought the cool mint was a good taste and like I said I didn’t find it to be chalky.

When I was cleaning up I found another Olay Wet Cleansing cloth so I used that up to get rid of it. It was okay and it will be good for traveling but I prefer using what I currently have now.

One of the reasons I am loving this post is also to keep track of how fast we go through items. This Colgate Total 85 ml actually lasts us a month with two adults. I find it funny because my brother in law goes through one tube + a month and he is alone. How is that even possible?

On to the make up. I don’t know if you can really consider finishing up the eye shadows since the technically arrived damaged. They were from Starlooks and these three were damaged but there was a small chunk in each one that was usable I so used them up. They were in the shades pearl Reflection, Wicked Wink and Almond me27. I really liked the look of all three and I was so happy they sent me replacements.

Sadly, I am ditching the ELF waterproof eyeliner because I think I am allergic to it. I found my eyes got itchy using it.

My holy grail for pain relief is Aleve and I am so happy they came to Canada because I have knee problems and this is the only thing that I have found to really work well on my knee. Love it

I ended up picking up this Secret by mistake thinking it was my normal one but it wasn’t. I didn’t really like the fearlessly fresh scented powder. But now I am back to my normal scent. Also is it just me or does it seem like the amount of deodorant in the tube is getting less?
Finally we are onto the shampoos and conditioners. I used up my holy grail John Freida Frizz Ease (I love this and its so perfect on my hair and I find it fights the frizz. I always repurchase this) smooth start hydrating in the middle of the month so instead of taking out my new bottles I decided to use up same samples and they were Lys Parisien hydrating balm and Moisturizing shampoo. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this. In the shower I found it was very drying to my hair but afterwards when it was dry it was soft. Its made with Argan oil.

Lastly was Bamboo luminous shine shampoo and conditioner. I only had the foil sample which gave me two washes so its hard to base an opinion on it. I don’t think I would purchase this without trying it again.

So this is what I used up in December, what about you?

The Natural Beauty Box November Edition

One of my favorite beauty box subscriptions is The Natural Beauty Box. Its a Canadian compnay which I love.

I pay $21.00 a month for this and its not a recurring subscription so you have to go in and order next box’s each month. Which I think is really nice if you happen to want to skip a month or two.

You can expect to receive 10-15 deluxe sample size products along with a ton a coupons so you can order the full size at a discount.

Your box will always be over $40 in value. Which I can say is true.

Your box will never contain two of the same products in your bag and you will never get repeats within the year (like in so many other of our beauty boxes).

As always in each bag we get a product sheet (which I love because they tell you exactly how much the full size is worth and the sample is worth)  with coupons, along with our invoice (which I really like) and this month there is a project called Project Lipstick Toss where if you donate some money and send in a synthetic lipstick when they reach 100 they will send out all natural replacements.
I have to say right off that I love the bags they are always different each month and so pretty. They are perfect for storing items in and placed on a shelf.
When I first saw this I was like yum a cup cake (doesn’t it look good enough to eat?) but in reality its Temptations Bath n’ Body classic deluxe cupcake soap. The scent I got is Vanilla Twist. The full size is $9.95 (5 oz)and the sample is worth $3.50 (1.50oz)
Temptations Bath n’ Body graciously sent also these Queen Oompabulous Glam-Dust Loose Eye Shadows for us. They are in the shades Fairy Wings (purple) and Fallen Star (silver) both are very pigmented. What I love is that you can wear it alone or as Fallen Star as base and Fairy Wings on crease. I have tried all three looks and honestly prefer using both at once.

The full size is $8.00 (0.25oz) and the sample is $3.00 (2 x 1g)

A company who always sends out different products is Delizioso Skincare. This month they sent a cream stick eye shadow in the shade Bronze Sunlight. Its a brown shade and it blends very nicely. I have used and it makes a really nice smokey eye. This is a full size item and its $22.00 for 0.16oz.

I really like this because its 100% natural, its antioxidant eye shadow, highly pigmented, nourishes, moisturizes and defines without being cakey or crackly.
Delizioso Skincare also sent this deliciousSour Cherry Whip Lip Scrub. This smelled so delicious and it actually made my lips feel soft, smooth and moisturized. Which is perfect for this time of the year.

This is also another full size item and its $12.00 for 0.33oz

Dr Emerald’s is another company that always sends out little goodies and this month they did it again with the Golden Berries Extra Moisturizing Facial Cream. I love the packaging of this and it smells so good. The full size is $62.00 (1oz) and the sample is $12.50 (4g)
Native Touch provided Rooting Bear Rub which is perfect for this time of the year for dry, flaky and irritated skin from the harsh weather we encounter. Its perfect for cuticles, calluses and even dry unmanagable hair. I noticed right away that it sort of smells like Vicks rub but not as strong. This was perfect on my hands and heels.

The full size is $9.99 (1.8oz) and the sample is $2.50 (0.2oz)

At first whiff I didn’t like the scent of this (natural essential oils of ylang ylang, rose, sandalwood, amber and frankincense) and I didn’t find it to be an aphrodisiac (it didn’t make me feel irresistable, desireable or seductive…sorry) but gradually the scent began to warm up on me and I like it.

This was a full size item. It’s $19.50 for 0.25oz

Fruition graciously gave us a Papaya Orange Split End Saver. The full size is $25.00 for 2oz and the sample is $7.50 for 0.5oz.

The other item they included was Blue Raspberry Lip Yum. This is a full size lip balm and it sells for $8.00 for 0.25oz. It was soft and smooth on my lips and they felt moisterized. I applied this several times a day on my lips and never did I worry about what was going on them because its all natural.

Finally the last item in the box is from a new division of The Natural Beauty Box, its The Gourmet Candy Bag (its not up and running yet but will soon be) and it will be a monthly subscription service for $12/month. Not sure if it will be a recurring charge or not. You will get 3-6 gourmet candies (chocolates to lollipops). This milk chocolate they sent was so good and I didn’t just pop it into my mouth I actually took three bites to get the full flavor and it was really good.

The sample is worth $1.50. I think when its up and running that I would subscribe to this for Michael because he said its not fair that I get packages each month and  he gets nothing. I am sure he would be thrilled to get this subscription.

So as you can see I got a great mixture of things to try out. This month we got 10 products and 4 of them were full sized items along with a little yummy goodie. (Who doesn’t love little chocolates in their boxes?) and this month the items were worth $92.00

Have you subscribed? Does this interest  you?
