By Rebecca Lewis
Genre: Romance
Age category: Adult
Release Date: 21 December 2017

Blurb:
**Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls go backstage.**

The Groupie Games are just that…games. You’re not supposed to get attached to any of the rock stars you hook up with. You shouldn’t fall for the stupid sexy way they look in their tight, ripped jeans or how they strut around the stage like they own it. But what happens when one of them turns the tables on you? When a rock star wants more than just a good time?

My two best friends and I sleep with rock stars like it’s a sport. We score points for each one we get with, and the winner gets to claim the title of being the “Groupie Games Queen.” It’s supposed to be fun. No drama, no emotions, and definitely no attachments. But Kellan Reid, the sexy AF lead singer of the hottest new rock band keeps coming back to me for more than just a casual hook-up, so how am I supposed to stop myself from wanting more?

**Groupie Games is a standalone sexy rock star romance. Due to graphic content, this steamy read is not recommended for those under 18.**

Groupie Games teaser

Excerpt:
He is definitely feeling himself tonight. The muscle tank came off five songs in and he’s lapping up the screams from his fans like water, giving them a little extra hip gyration here and there. Damn it, it’s sexy as hell.
“That’s it. Your boy’s in full-on rock god mode right now.” Jules points as Kellan drags his hand slowly down his abs and grabs his crotch. The girls by the front of the stage just watch in awe. He bites his lip and kneels by the edge of the stage as he finishes singing the last song of their set.
I nod. This is his element. Where he shines. And God, I love to see him shine.
The guys run off stage with their towels and beers in hand. They are hot, sweaty messes, but I have to steal Kellan away the second he comes near me. I grab his arm to turn him towards me and run my tongue along his glistening bare chest. “I want to lick the sweat right off you.”
He smirks and takes my hand, leading me away from the rest of the band.

Always With You banner

Before beginning my review I quickly just want to thank Lola’s Blog Tours for allowing me to be a part of the blog tour for Always With You and for sending me a copy of the book to read for the tour stop.

One of the best things about taking part in blog tours is getting to read books you have never heard about before until seeing it in your email and this was the case this time around. This is a new book for me and the same with the author. I have to say that after reading this I am curious to check out other books from Hannah.

This was a fairly quick read for me and I managed to finish it within two days. Perhaps being a little under the weather helped a bit with that or just my need to have a me day after a long and stressful hockey evaluation session.

One of the things I really enjoyed about the book was the vivid description because it literally felt like you were a part of the book and were with Libby as she was going on this adventure.

The book is basically divided up into two parts one is Evelyn’s trip in 1994 and Libby’s trip in 2017. Evelyn is Libby’s mother and she has kept a deep dark secret from her daughter, Libby. As  her mother is dying she finally reveals to Libby what it was, Libby is grief stricken after her death and decides to basically relive her mother’s year long trip in Australia in the hopes of finding her father that she never got to know.

I have never been to Australia and its on my bucket list of things to hopefully one day do and after reading this I really have to make this goal happen.

Its been a while since a book has actually tugged at my emotions and this one certainly did. I could feel my heart breaking when Libby was going through Evelyn’s death. My mom passed away two years ago and that emotion is still raw so I could completely relate to Libby.

Will Libby finally find the father she went looking for? Is she just going to make things complicated if she does? Or is it better to just leave things unsaid?

I highly recommend this book. It was a fantastic read and I am definitely going to check out her other books.

Losing Kyler Excerpt:
In this moment, I hate my mother, and I’m mad as all hell that she isn’t here for me to yell at. To demand she tell me the Goddamned truth and explain why she thought it was such a good idea to lie about virtually every facet of my life. My hands ball into fists at my sides, and I’m barely holding it together.
“I also discovered that he was working for a firm in Belfast at the time your mother told you she met him. He wasn’t working locally, Faye. There’s no way Saoirse could’ve met him in the way she described to you.”
Liar! How could she do this to me!
I don’t even know who I am anymore, and every memory I have of my parents is tarnished by the knowledge that it was a fabrication. That I was being lied to every single day of my life.
Why? Were they ever planning on telling me the truth?
Hopping up, enraged and upset, and struggling with a million other emotions, I sweep the contents of my dresser clear across the floor. Picking up the stool, I fling it across the room, watching as it smashes against the wall, the sounds of splintering wood adding to James’s shocked gasps. Tears erupt from my eyes, and my cries fill the room as I slump to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably into my hands.
Ky kneels down, gently wrapping his arms around me from behind. His limbs are tense, his arms a little stiff, and I feel it too—the lure of his warmth and the call of his body battling against what we’ve been told, forcing us to maintain a certain distance.
“Kyler.” James’s voice contains clear warning.
“Shut up, Dad. She needs me, and I’m only comforting her. You’re the one who fucked up here, not us. And you’re a damn hypocrite to criticize us after all you’ve done.”
Ky’s statement is paradoxical in part, because the truth is more complex than that. Is James the hypocrite or are we? I don’t know what to think anymore. I massage my temples, digging my fingers into my skin with brutal intensity, welcoming the pressure. What is right and what is wrong? I’m not sure I know anymore, and my jumbled brain is incapable of constructing logical thought patterns.
