Wyatt Baldwin and his friends must go beyond the boundaries of their small town to reestablish contact with the outside world. During their journey they discover a new threat released from the bowels of the defunct theme park. The danger of werewolves, vampires and zombies pale in comparison to an army of relentless mummies, Vincent Conrad’s reanimated monster and the menace of a life-sucking ooze they call The Glob.  Wil Wyatt and his friends survive when they reenter the scariest place on earth?

About the Author:
USA Today Bestselling author S.E. Babin has a passion for writing books with a paranormal twist. Whether it’s romance or mystery, she loves taking the norm and turning it into the extraordinary. Her love of reading turned into a curious exploration to see whether or not she could write her own novel. Beginning with discarded pages of angsty novels and a slightly popular reimagining of Beowulf’s Grendel in her high school English class, Sheryl spent way too much time in the library, killing any chance of her becoming a cheerleader or anything even remotely cool.

TBB Asks: April 2018 – Spring Edition

I just spotted this over on Kimberly Faye Reads blog and I had to check it out.  Its the TBB Asks: Spring Edition and its hosted over at The Blended Blog which just happens to be a new to be blog and I am excited to check it out.

Here are my answers to the above questions:

  1. What 3 colors remind you most of Spring? When I think of spring I think of light purples, pinks and yellows.
  2. What is the first thing you add to your wardrobe in Spring? Nothing yet. I haven’t been shopping yet.
  3. What is the first wardrobe item you ditch in Spring? Anything winter related.
  4. Who mows the grass where you live? I live in a house so my DH does it 🙂
  5. What’s Spring like where you live? Normally, the snow is gone, the temperatures start going in low double digits and the sun is out. Currently its still cold below 0, cloudy, dreary and there is still snow on the ground. When I left the arena this morning it was snowing 🙁
  6. What’s your favorite thing about Spring? The fact that its not winter anymore. LOL The flowers starting to bloom ie Lilac tree, grass getting green and the fact I don’t need winter clothes.
  7. Are you a Spring cleaner? Yes I am. I like to purge and get rid of the things we no longer use.
  8. Are you a baseball fan? No I am not.
  9. Tulips or daffodils? Both really.
  10. Favorite outdoor Spring activity? Being able to walk to the library, grocery store and malls. Plus getting to sit out and listen to the birds.
  11. Flowers in the ground or in pots? We actually do both. I like having pots of flowers by the entrance stairs.
  12. Favorite bird? I definitely like seeing robins because that is a sign spring is here as well as the blue jays.
  13. Car wash or wash vehicles at home? My DH likes to wash the car.
  14. When do you pull out your sandals? As soon as its warm enough to start wearing them. Right now its still cold out.

Please let me know if you answered the questions would love to see your replies.

Book Blitz/ Perfectly Misunderstood

Perfectly Misunderstood (The Perfect Series Book 4) by [Daniels, Robin]
About the Book:

Book Title: Perfectly Misunderstood #4

Genre: YA Contemporary Romance/Romantic Comedy

Book Synopsis:  Jayden Valdez is an overachieving intellectual. Mike McGinnes is Franklin High School’s dumbest jock. Even though they barely know each other, she finds his personality repulsive and he thinks she’s got a giant stick up her you know what. Mike and Jayden are surprised and annoyed when their teacher pairs them together for Spanish tutoring. Both feel it’s a complete waste of time, since nobody could learn from a person who bugs the crap out of them. Not to mention that their reputations might be ruined if people realize what they’re doing. But it doesn’t take long for Jayden to discover that Mike has a secret—he isn’t the person he appears to be. Much to her dismay, Jayden finds ‘Secret Mike’ strangely attractive. And for some crazy reason, Mike is amused by Jayden’s clever insults and witty banter. Suddenly, they have a much bigger problem than their mutual disdain. What started as irritating tension is beginning to feel more like romantic tension and acting on it would be a very bad idea.

The Excerpt:

Jayden’s glare intensified, and I could tell she was sending me mental death threats. Eventually, she gave up and sat down across from me. “Was that so hard?” I asked.

“About as hard as you head.”

“I have harder parts than my head,” I countered. Her eyes grew wide at the implication. I let her stew for a second before lifting my sleeve and flexing my bicep. “You think that’s hard? You should see my abs.” I’d said it as a joke, but it was basically true.

She was surprised for the briefest moment, then she grunted. “How Cro-Magnon of you.”

“Your grunt suggests you’re familiar with the genotype on a personal level.” I smirked.

Jayden’s eyes narrowed. “At least I’ve evolved. Your face suggests that you haven’t yet.”

I tsked in good nature. “Your face might be prettier than mine, but your manners prove you haven’t evolved as much as you think.”
