If we were having tea… I would tell you that I think Mother Nature has lost her mind. Its been above 0 all week and its been warm enough that I can open the windows during the day. Except for this morning woke up to it being -8 (felt like -15 with the windchill).
If we were having tea… I would tell you that we had a much quieter week this past week with only one practice and no games.
If we were having tea… I would tell you that we only played two games in regionals as we lost our 2nd game. It was due to poor reffing once again. Michael was also on the receiving end of another illegal body check. Yes mama bear was mad. Here in Quebec there is no contact at this level but it seems like leagues don’t respect that rule. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.
If we were having tea... I would tell you that today we start our last tournament of the season and the one good thing about it is its a home turf tournament so the refs are pretty much in our favor which will be nice for the kids because they are expressing their frustrations over refs not being fair and I don’t blame them. I think when it comes to refs they should be brought in from other leagues to make things fair especially in play offs and regionals.
If we were having tea… I would tell you that Michael has decided that he was to play another round of hockey in the spring but its 3 vs 3. It goes from April 4th to the end of June. I know I am a little tired but at least I have no responsibilites apart from getting him to the arena they are doing this at. He has asked to play so I won’t say no.
If we were having tea… I would tell you that in a matter of 18 days Michael will be an official teenager. He will be turning 13. Its hard to believe at how fast the time is going.
If we were having tea… I would tell you that it was great seeing you again this week and that I can’t wait until next week. I hope you have a good week.
