Lip Factory Inc May & June Edition

As you know one of my favorite beauty box subscription services is Lip Factory Inc. I always love each and every box they send. If you are interested in subscribing I would appreciate it if you used me as a referral.

For everyone person that uses me as a referral I get points which I then can redeem for a free box. Just leave me a comment if you plan to do so, so that I can keep track.

Now this month is a little different because I have two boxes. They are for May & June. I didn’t get the May box before leaving for NYC last month so it was nice to come home to some packages.

So lets get onto it shall we. The first box I am going to show you is the May box.

This is everything I got in the box for May.

A brand we get quite often in the box is from 29 Cosmetics which I like because I don’t think you can get this here in Canada. Its a Lash Lengtheing, Curling, and Conditioning Mascara. Its a black mascara and I have to say that I really do like the smell of it. Its a long lasting anti-oxidant enriched D’Vine mascara with grape seed extract to help nourish your lashes and protect them from environmental pollutants and harmful effects of free radicals.

This is a new to me company and its called LiSi Cosmetics. They sent us a Line & Define automatic Eye Liner pencil that is retrackable which is nice because you don’t have to worry about sharpening it. It came in the shade Tsunami and I would describe it as a dark gray. It went on really nice and it has a but of a shimmer to it.

I believe we have gotten things in the past from Two Cosmetics which I don’t mind because this was a duo eye shadow in the shade Daydreamin’. This is how the website describes the colors “pewter gray with hints of dusty blue/green in shimmer & matte. amazing for the outer V of your daytime smoky eye or as a lower lashline liner. unique color that brightens up every eye color. paraben-free!”

I really like the colors.

Sorry that this is upside down (don’t know why because I had fixed it before posting this but for some reason it flipped over again) this is a sample of md formulations and its a facial cleanser. I can’t wait to try this out when I get back from vacation.

I was so thrilled when I opened my box to discover I got a nail polish. I don’t own anything by LA Splash. Its in the shade Atlantis. Its a beautiful purple polish with specks of blue and purple glitter. I was happy when I took the picture because you can see some of it in the picture.

I have never heard of Sweet Pea & Fay before and I was excited to get this liquid lipstick. Although I have to say that it was kind of hard squeezing it out and when I finally got it to come out it came out in a blop and its just seems like its not the right color for me. Its a little too bright and a in your face color. As you can see from the above swatch.

Finally another company that we see to get a few items from and its from Ofra. I believe this is a lipgloss and its in the shade Bordeaux. To describe it I would have to say a deep burgunday/purple. It has a doe foot applicator and its got a really nice smell to it. I did find it a little sticky but I would wear this probably more in the fall.

Now onto the June box.

June was another awesome box that I loved each and everything.

The first item is from Manic Panic and its a High Voltage Gloss. Its 100% vegan & paraben free. It came in the shade Radioactive and its a beautiful shimmery red gloss. I don’t think I would wear this everyday but perhaps to a special event or occassion. I loved that it came with a mirror on the side of the tube and when you take the cap off it lights up making putting on so much easier. There is no smell to it that I could taste and I love that the applicator is a doe foot one.

Another item from Manic Panic was this Creature of the Night mascara. I didn’t open it up so I am presuming its black. I have quite a few ope mascara’s that I need to use up first before opening it up. Its cruelty free and vegan as well.

Another new item was this loose mineral eye dust in the shade Turquoise from Colour U. Its a very pretty color but I have to admit that I am not a huge fan on the loose shadows. Not sure why just not a fan.

I am slowly discovering a love  for Essence items so I love being able to try things from this company. This time I will be able to try this Essence Volumizing lush powder.

This month again we got something from 29 cosmetics and its a lip stick with SPF 20 in the shade Wine Critic. I love the color very pretty and I have to say its a me color and I love how it went on and the texture. Nothing sticky about this.

Something I have gotten in the past from other beauty boxes was the Befine packs. I love these and I love having a few on hand. This on eis the Exfolliating Cleanser with brown sugar, sweet almond and oats. This was one of my favorites.

And finally this month I got another polish. If you know me you know I love getting nail polishes. This is a new brand to me its by london town. The name isn’t on the bottle and I am trying to recall the name because I saw it online and I think its Thames from the Eye. Its a very pretty creme polish in the shade blue green. I am probably going to use this very soon.

So overall I have to say that I am really impressed with box boxes and I do find that it pays for itself and more so when its items I am excited to try and use. I believe everything was full sized.

Lip Factory Inc the March Edition

One of my favorite beauty box subscriptions came in yesterday and I am always so excited when the mail man delivers this monthly package to me. This box is bascially ripped open as soon as the door is closed.

The price has increased a little and here in Canada I pay roughly $27 (shipping and the exchange rate) and I honestly love this subscription and have no plans to cancel any time soon.

This month is all about the lips.

Here is what I got:

I love the way they ship out the boxes and honestly love how everything is packaged inside the smaller black lip factory box. On the flip side of the card it tells us what products we got this month.

Did you know that Lip Gloss was invented by Max Factor in 1930?

I was so thrilled with all the lip products they sent because there has been some items that I have been wanting to try that aren’t available here.

So the items I got are:
-be a bombshell in in the shade Sugar Lips
-L.A Splash diamond lip gloss in the shade Forbidden
-Korres Liquid Lipstick in the shade Raspberry. This is a water-based formula for intense colour and long lasting creamy texture
-Designer Skin Lip Shimmer in the shade Perfectly Perfect
-NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in the shade Hera
-Ofra lipstick in the shade Berry Sexy
-Dermalogica Renewal Lip Complex sample

I got two bonus items and the first item is a Lip Factory Inc lip brush ( I think everyone got this) and CO Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine 100% Natural Mint balm.

I have swatched the products for you and the first one is with the corresponding products. This was taken at my desk.

This is another swatch taken with more light.

I have to say some of my favorites right now is the be a bombshell, Designer skin and the NYX.

What do you think? What would you be interested in?

Lip Factory Inc February Edition

Lip Factory Inc is one of my favorite beauty box subscriptions that I get each month. I love the idea behind this because you do get a wide range of items each month with a focus on lips.

I have been asked recently what this feature is really about and its just an unboxing posts. I want to share what I got with you my readers and reviews are posted the following month.

If you are interested in subscribing to Lip Factory Inc I would appreciate it if you could mention Cindy Smith as your referral.

Lets get into the unboxing shall we. As you can see Lip Factory has kept the little black box to ship the goodies in and this months box was created by Maryam Maquillage. She created the smokey eyed Valentine look. So the flip side of the card tells us how we can achieve that look. The other card is the product card.

One of the reason’s I love this subscription is the brands they include. A majority of them are all new to me brands. That I love trying out.

The first one is this Nabi lip liner pencil. Its in the shade Cola #L45. When I swatched it, it went on smooth and easy. Its sort of a plum color. This is a full size item

This is the first time I have heard of 29 Cosmetics. They are from Napa, California and they are dedicated in protecting, improving and presenting beautiful skin.  The formulas are all natural and pure, there is no paraben and sulfite free.

I was sent this Reserve Grape Seed Age protecting Moiturizing Lip Stick with SPF 20 in the shade LS22 Stompin’ Grapes. Its a really nice shade that I am so excited to try with my daily routine. This is a full size item valued at $25.00

They also graciously sent a Preserves Lip Therapy and the shade is in Hint of Honey LT03. I was a little worried that it would be glittery but its not. I like the packaging of both products. This is a full size item valued at $24.00

Another item from them is the 29 Preserves Skin Care Collection. The package includes little samples of cream cleanser, serum extract, eye emulsion and night moisture. The full size of these value from $68 to $175.

They also sent out this leather mirrored Lipstick case. Which will be perfect to throw in my purse so you don’t have to worry about your lip stick opening.

Another full size item is this Stila Plumping Lip Glaze in the shade Vanilla Mint. I don’t have very much in the line of Stila items so I am always excited to get one. This has a value of $10 on their site. This was a bonus item this month.

“Plump up the volume of your pout and add beautiful color and shine. Stila’s world-famous lip glaze now has active ingredients to help promote beautiful, full, healthy lips. Camellia oil, high in oleic acid,is a fabulous moisturizer. Antioxidant-rich vitamin E helps protect cells against environmental damage. Naturally occurring peptides offer just the right amount of plump but without burning or stinging the lips. Available in six sheer, minty flavors that can be worn alone or used as a great top coat with your favorite stila lip color.”

I love Kabuki brushes so getting this cute little mini was a nice surprise. The bristles are very soft and I can’t wait to add this to my brush collection.

LA Splash Cosmetics is another new company for me. They sent out three full size items with a value of $6.99 each ($20.97 total). You can wear them as is or if you want a more intense color you should use a base/sealer and there is 224 colors in the collection. I was lucky enough to get Oyster Shell (top), Hula Hula and Black Sea. I thought the colors were very pigmented.

So that is my February box. I am excited to try everything out and add it to my daily routine. As you can see the box definetly paid for itself and I am totally impressed.

Lip Factory Inc Janury Edition

Today I got my Lip Factory Inc box for January.

I am always excited when this box comes in because there is always a suprise element to it and I think thats due to the fact I don’t see alot of spoilers and this box is probably opened the fastest.

Since getting the box they have really upted the presentation and I think that says alot about the company and how they represent themselves.

They now ship in a normal brown box but inside the box is a little black box stuffed with crinkle paper to hold it in place.

When I took out the black box I could see that it was filled to the brim. I can’t wait to show you what I got this month.

Please note that I purchase this subscription and that this is just an unboxing posts. If you are interested in subscribing I would apprecitate if you used my name “Cindy Smith” as your referral or http://cindysloveofbooks.blogspot.com I would appreciate that greatly.

Lets get into the box shall we.

As you can see its packed with all kinds of goodies.
The first item I spotted was a dupe for the Beauty Blender. This is used to great a flawless look making it seem like your wearing no make up at all. I have actually been looking at the Beauty Blender but couldn’t never justify spending the money on it so I am thrilled to have gotten this one even if its a dupe for the real one.
These are both new to me items and the first one is Onsen Mirco Water Complex cuticle conditioner which is perfect for this time of the year. To go along with that I got a cult nails polish in the shade Charlatan. Its a sheer color and was told it looks great as a top coat. You can wear this alone as well. I love that this nail polish is cruelty free, 4 free and vegan friendly.
Now two things that I won’t use but will probably give away to someone who could use them is this ELF Brow Stencil Kit and NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in the shade brunette. I admit that I rarely pluck my brows as I leave that for the professionals to do because I have a fear of over plucking. I also got a brow brush.
This month we got some foil samples which I don’t mind. The first two are from dermalogica the pinkish  one is a sheer tint moisturizer and the gray one is a special cleansing gel. On the tops is Beauty So Clean cosmetic Sanitizer wipes which I have to say at first I was a little tired of getting them but once I started to use them I loved them.
Naked Skin Cream is great for the face and body. Its like a whipped cream. I smelled this before but can’t place the smell. Two Lips graciously provided a lip gloss in the Shade Vixen. I was honestly I little scared because its so red. I admit it went a really intense at first but with wear it went into a nice shade and you can put this on top of a lipstick for an intense look. The other lip gloss is from Senna Lip Pics Lacquer in the shade Shiver. Its a vanilla flavored gloss that contains Vitamin A, E, C and Jojoba Oil for extra conditioning. When you put it on its got a frosted look. I discovered for myself that I can’t wear this alone because I find it drying but on top of a clear gloss was nice.
I really liked the box and never have a complaint with it. Everything apart from the foil samples were all full size items.

This months box has a value of over $40 so its paid for itself. I am excited to try everything out

What was your favorite thing in the box?

This one is called Lip Factory Inc and I should let you know before I begin this review that I actually purchased this subscription service and I’m not being compensated in anyway for this review. I just thought I would share what I got from them.

Before I begin let me tell you a little bit about Lip Factory Inc.

So lets get on with the November box shall we.

I should let you know that coming into Canada it could take a little longer due to customs. Although I thought this month they were really fast in getting the boxes out despite Hurricane Sandy.

One of the things I loved this month was that Lip Factory Inc, donated 25% of our subscription fee this month  to the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation. In honor of breast cancer awareness. I don’t think any of the other beauty boxes I get did that.

As you can see the packaging is very pretty and classic in my opinion. It comes in a plain brown box but inside you are greeted with this:

How pretty does that look?
I love the whole packaging of this subscription service.

This month its all about the lips so you know there will be all kinds of lip goodies in this months box which I am excited for.

First up is this Stila Lip Rouge Liquid Lip Satin. I think this must be a new upcoming product because I couldn’t find anything online about it.
Not sure of the color but its a nice color. I believe this would be a full size product.
Diamond Cosmetics which is a new to me brand provided what I believe is a full size product  of this soft as silk lip liner in Rust.
Its a nice shade and it was soft to apply.
L’Oreal Paris has a new product out called Jelly Balm. I am a little worried since it says high intensity pigment.
Its in the shade Delectable and this I believe is a full size product.
I was honestly shocked because this looks like a really dark shade but when I put it on it went on clear.
Another new brand is Nabi Cosmetics.
We got a Aloe lip gloss in clear. Its got a taste to it which I would think would be aloe. Its actually a nice lip gloss. This is a full size product I believe.
Another new to be brand is Laura Geller’s lip strip. This is a sample product. Its a cooling sugar scrub for your lips. I guess its to clean your lips to make them soft and smooth.
Revlon is not a new to me brand but this particular product is brand new. Its the Color Burst lip butters.
I got a sample in the shade Peach Parfait. I really liked this. Thankfully I might be going to the US this weekend so this is something I want to look for because I see a few shades I would like to check out and  Target was on the list of places I wanted to check out.
Next up is Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy mini lip gloss in Passion. I have never tried any make up products from Victoria Secrets but I have always wanted to.
This is just a sample size and its very nice. Its a very nice color that you can wear alone or with lip stick.

The following are all bonus items in this months box. They are little surprises.
Another item I have been wanting to try is Gap products. I never think to go in and check to see what they have when I am at the mall.
Not sure what shade this sample is in but its a good size sample.
An item we all know and probably enjoy is the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in the shade Champagne. Its a pale pink and it smells so good. I believe this is a full size product.
This I have been eyeing on the Sephora website. Its tokidoki lip gloss and its in the shade ciao ciao. I think this could be a full size product but not sure.
So this is the November Lip Factory Inc subscription, what did you think?

I really liked the subscription this month. So many great lip products to check out and sample. I honestly like everything this month and I know it will all get used. I can’t believe how many full size items that we got as well.

What do you think of this beauty subscription service? Is this something that interests you? If you subscribe did we get the same things?

Lip Factory Inc October Edition

This is the October product card.
I have stumbled upon another beauty box subscription service. I just thought I would share what I got from them.

So lets get on with the October box shall we.

I should let you know that coming into Canada it could take a little longer due to customs.

As you can see the packaging is very pretty and classic in my opinion. It comes in a plain brown box but inside you are greeted with this:

I love the white and black print paper. Plus the design is really nice. There is nothing bright here.
What I really liked right away was seeing that little hand written note thanking me for my subscription. I think this says alot about a company.

When there was a delay in shipping they instantly contacted me right away via an email to apologize and I thought that was really nice on their part because so many of the beauty boxes don’t do that so this gives you a great first impression on the company.

They offered me a tshirt and I replied back with my size and it was included in the box.

Thanks Lip Factory for sending this out to me.

When I lifted up this package I could feel some weight to it and was instantly curious to open it and see what was there.

The first things I pulled out was this months product card which changes monthly.

The next item was this Make Up For Ever HD Primer foil sample.
Another foil sample is this Murad Hydrate Essential C Day Moisture and I believe this is a bonus item.
Then there is the Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist samples.
As you can see there is 4 various shades of lipstick in those little pods. So far the first and the last one are my favorites.
All new subscribers get this Kabuki brush (most commonly used to apply dry, powder-based makeup such as foundation or blush). Its a nice soft brush and I like that its retractable and comes like this. Great for traveling.
I got 2 Ultimo Mineral eye shadows in the same shade Expresso. Although I think I was suppose to get a different color. Its a nice brown shade that I am excited to try.
A brand I know and really like is the Mark line (Avon) and they included this little sample of Glow Baby Glow Luxe lip gloss. It smelled like candy which I loved but I found myself always licking my lips when I put this on.
Since subscribing to a few (whistles innocently) beauty boxes I have discovered a love for the Benefit cosmetics so I was thrilled when they included this ChaCha Tint. I believe this was a bonus item as well since its not marked on my card or online.
Something that is new to me is Korres products. I got a sample of their lip gloss in Cherry Lip Gloss high shine. This smelled like cherries.

Instut’ Dermed Clarifying Cleanser. I haven’t tried this one yet and hoping to get to this very soon.

No make up box would be complete without a mascara and this is Clinique’s High Impact Mascara. Its in black and I believe this was another bonus item. I haven’t opened this yet since I have quite a few mascara’s going.
As you might know I am always unsure about Eye Pencils and never quite sure what to do with them or how to use them so I am hoping that after watching some videos I will know what to do. The shade I got is Plum 1645 and its by H2O Plus.
I have to say this scares the beejesus out of me. Its a NYX Extreme Blue Liquid Liner. Not sure if I would use this but perhaps if an occassion occurred I might be willing to use it.
So this is what I got and I have to say I am really impressed. I have seen one other blog post about this and they got different items. I am excited to try these all out.
Before I forget they also include these little brushes with each beauty kit. I think this would be perfect for traveling. I think the idea behind this is in case you don’t have the brushes  you have something to work with which I think is a neat idea and in the video’s the artist will use the same brushes.

The above picture is all the swatches I did. They are in order from top to bottom: Korres Cherry Lip gloss, ChaCha Tint, Glow Baby Glow Luxe, Expresso eye shadow, Plum liner and the Extreme Blue liquid liner.

What do you think of this beauty subscription service? Is this something that interests you?
