The Viktor twins have the world at their feet. Demanding an empire of respect, fear and submission, human and lycan steer clear of the dynamic duo. But when a brutal attack lands one of them in the hospital, they realize everything is nothing without the presence of their female as they all too suddenly fall for their human mate.

Willing to do whatever it takes for revenge while keeping their female happily by their side, they must bare every dark secret they hide in hopes it will bring them together instead of driving them apart.

Excerpt:

Watching him leave, she noted for the first time in a long while the hard beat of her heart. A real, sure beat that had her clutching at the chest and massaging it, trying to soothe the ache from spreading further.

What was this foreign feeling?

Carnation flowers. Red, pink, and white peaking from the gift shop window. For no reason, they became all the brighter as he walked by. Or maybe, it was him. He was the reason why they became all the richer, his presence lighting them aglow and feeding into their untapped essence of blossoming beauty. He turned to look at her before disappearing around the wall.

Was it her or did those eyes appear even brighter than the first time she’d seen them?

Publisher: Disney-Hyperion

Formats: Hardcover, eBook

Pages: 40

“Who’s in charge here?”

When Grace learns about the three branches of the United States government, she and the rest of the student council put the lesson into practice as they debate how to spend the money from a school fund-raiser. Should they buy new sports equipment? Books for the library? Instruments for the music room? The arguments continue as they travel to Washington, DC, for a field trip. Exploring government buildings and national monuments, Grace feels closer than ever to her dream of becoming president someday. But she and her classmates have a lot to learn about what it means to serve the needs of the people, especially when the people want such different things!

In this follow-up to New York Times best seller Grace for President, Kelly DiPucchio not only introduces how our government makes decisions, but also shares what it takes to be a true public servant.

Kelly is the award-winning author of several children’s books, thousands of To-Do lists, and a few recipe cards. Two of her books, Grace For President and The Sandwich Swap, were New York Times bestsellers.

Like most kids who grew up in the 1970’s, Kelly had a pet goat and bought all her clothes from the Sears catalog. Like most teenagers who grew up in the 1980’s, Kelly had really big glasses and feathered hair.

Today, Kelly lives with her husband and three children in southeastern Michigan, where she enjoys writing just about everything except her own bio.

Blog Tour/ Sam Saves the Night

About the Book

Title: SAM SAVES THE NIGHT

Author: Shari Simpson

Pub. Date: October 1, 2019

Publisher: Disney-Hyperion

Formats: Hardcover, eBook

Pages: 304

What would you do if you could stay out all night and not get in trouble?

Thirteen-year-old Sam has no friends, but you can’t really blame her. She lives her life in a state of chronic exhaustion thanks to her nightly sleepwalking jaunts, which include trips to the store, treehouse-building projects, and breaking-and-entering escapades-none of which she remembers in the morning. Her condition is taking its toll on her family (and her life), so when her mom takes her to see a wacky strip-mall sleep specialist, Sam is wary, but 100 percent in.

The night after the doc works his mojo, Sam wakes up outside her body, watching herself sleep. FREAKY! But once she gets over the panic attack, she realizes there’s a whole world of detached-souls out there, called SleepWakers-cliques of kids like the Achieves, who use their sleep time to learn new things; the Numbs, who eat junk food and play video games all night long, and the OCDeeds who search for missing things and organize other people’s stuff. And then there are the Mean Dreams, led by Madalynn Sucret, the nicest girl in Sam’s school, who shows Sam that she can use her power to get back at a bully who’s been tormenting her. Sam is intrigued-until it becomes clear that Madalynn is the real bully and the “tormentor” is just, well… sad. Now Sam is faced with uniting the various tribes of SleepWakers to fight back against Madalynn and the Mean Dreams in the most epic battle the night has ever seen.

2019 ARCtober Reading Challenge Goals

I feel as though I am so behind in my blogging and my reading these past few months and I am trying to get back on track and what better way than reading some of those ARCs I have gotten over the past few months.

So when I saw that KimberlyFayeReads was going to be hosting the  ARCtober Reading Challenge I knew I had to sign up again this year. She is hosting it along with Malia from Romance Schmomance  You have until October 6th to sign up, just click on one of the two bloggers names to take you to the sign up page.

I thought I would share some of the ARC’s that I am hoping to read in October. This is just a few but I have quite a few others that I want to get to this month as well.
