Books Bought # 33

Books Bought is a meme that I am hosting. Its a fun and easy meme. If you want to take part all you have to do is grab the button and leave me a comment letting me know that you are taking part.

You can do this meme whenever you buy books either weekly, monthly etc.

I told myself that I really need to ease up on my book buying this year seeing that I will be going to New York in May to attend BEA and I really want to go and visit The Strand.

I went into Chapters to return a book I bought and only realized at the cash that I didn’t have my receipt with me. I was able to still return the book for a store credit. Of course I had to make the trip worth while so I headed into the new releases but didn’t find anything so I checked out the YA and picked up:

-Betrayals by Lili St. Crow (This is book 2 in the series)
-Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson (This is the first book)
-Very LeFreak by Rachel Cohn (This one sounded really good when I heard about it)

This is what I bought what did you get?

Hi! Funny you mention Chapters…I was just there 2 days ago. I got, The Lost Diary of Don Juan, Dark Angels by Karleeen Koen and Vivaldi’s Virgins- all 5$ each! (Me wqho swore to stay away from that place!)
    How are ya?

I haven’t heard of the books you bought so I will just wait for your reviews 🙂
You are sooo lucky that you’re going to BEA! I had it planned as well but then I got pregnant(I was actually already pregnant while attending last year’s but didn’t know it yet) and I will be nursing my three month old baby instead. Have fun!

Oh, I’ve heard of those books, and the girl on the Le Freak cover looks eerily like Victoria/Rachelle Lefebvre in Twilight, and the actress’ name is Rachelle . . . eerie. . . haha.

I think Maureen Johnson was at BEA last year. Maybe she’ll be there again this year? Maureen Johnson, John Green, Scott Westerfeld (and I think Libba Bray as well) are writing buddies. Maybe they’ll all be at BEA?

    Enjoy reading them!

P.S. Is the first book by St-Crow good?
