Book Spotlight/ Buzz Books Young Adult Spring/Summer 2016

After spotting this book and downloading it from Netgalley I seriously can’t wait for the spring/summer season to come.

I am always so happy when Publishers Lunch put out there Buzz Books for the upcoming seasons especially for the young adult books and that they expanded it to include more books. This is the fourth young adult Buzz Book and I enjoyed reading this and getting the chance to get a sneak peek into the upcoming young adult books that are coming out very soon.

The Buzz Books 2016 Young Adult Spring/Summer edition features 2o exclusive excerpts of new young adult titles. Each title includes the cover of the book, summary and a few chapters. Just enough to suck you into wanting to read the book or books asap.

Just from reading these 20 snippets I have to say that I think this Spring/Summer there is a ton of great young adult books coming out that I am pretty excited to read and honestly I have added them all to my every growing wishlist of books.

The only negative thing I have to say about the excerpts is that I wish the publishers would start off their excerpts with the first chapter and not at chapter 3 etc. Am I the only one who feels the same way?

Really want to read:

This one sounds really good and the only thing I didn’t like was the excerpt started on Chapter 3 and then jumped to 23, 24 and then jumped to 38. So I have to admit I didn’t read and I am basing my opinion on the description alone as wanting to read this. (July 12, 2016)

This will be the perfect read. (March 8, 2016)

This one sounds interesting. (May 3, 2016)

This is a reimagining of Jane Eyre that sounds really good. (March 22, 2016)

This one has really peeked my interest. I really want to read this and I think this would be the perfect book to read this summer. (June 14, 2016)

I have to say that at first the cover drew me in but as I read the book description drew me in even more. (February 23, 2016)

This is another book that drew me in by the cover and after reading the book description and excerpt I really want to read this. (June 17, 2016)

This is another one that has peeked my interest. (May 3, 2016) (Debut)

Do any of these books peek your interest?
