Sadly by the time this goes up, I won’t be in bed reading this

The reason I won’t be in bed reading this is because I am on my way to Burlington, Vermont for the day. It was a last minute trip south of the border but one I am looking forward to. When I say its last minute I mean its last minute. I have been joking about going to do some grocery shopping and hitting the Olive Garden again when low and behold I was told we are going in the morning. So yea

I am bringing this book and another one (not sure yet) to read in the car.

This week I am happy to say that I was able to stay in bed to read:

On Thursday I had some dental work done for a crown. I thought it was just to do that but I found out that no its not, its only a temporary crown so I have to go back in two weeks for the permanent one so the last few days its been painful so I have been taking it easy and resting and reading.

I was super excited to get this book at BEA in June and to meet the author. I will be on her blog tour for this in early September.

This week I’m sadly not in bed with any book because we have a prior commitment today to take my in laws up north from us. Its roughly an hour away and we will be gone all day although I will be bringing this to read in the car because I really need to finish it.

I have been wanting to read this for a little while now and was so happy when I finally got it. I am looking forward to digging into this one tomorrow morning. It will be nice to sleep in a bit and read for awhile because we have no place to really be in the morning.

This week I am in bed with.. (again)

I picked up The Land of Stories : The Wishing Spell (book 1) by Chris Colfer at the Children’s Author Breakfast at BEA this year and I have been dying to read it. With its release this month I decided to pick it up and can I just say that I LOVE the cover. Although this picture doesn’t do it justice.

I am really enjoying the book and I am sure Michael would love to read this when he is a little older.

I am well over half way through this and was hoping to finish it up while I was on vacation but I didn’t. I only managed to read a few pages here and there so I am hoping to finish it up this week. I do have to say that I managed to get to Barnes and Noble while I was away and I picked up a finish copy of the book (a first for me) and I love it.

This week I am in bed with..

I picked up The Land of Stories : The Wishing Spell (book 1) by Chris Colfer at the Children’s Author Breakfast at BEA this year and I have been dying to read it. Its Inescapable by Nancy Mehl. I am on the blog tour for this on Tuesday. I started to read this on yesterday (Saturday) and I am loving this. So I really hope that I can finish this today.
