Good Monday morning everyone. Its been since July since I have done a unhauling post and sadly since that time I have passed on many books that I didn’t get to document. I need to get better with that because all numbers eventually add up to the bigger outlook.

I had so much success in 2015 unhauling books that I thought I would continue this again for 2017 and going into 2018 I will be doing the same thing again. I think I do this out of curiosity  for myself to see if I am giving more away then I am bringing in.

With the lack of documenting over the past 5 months I have no idea what I have given away so the totals are a little off.

So each month I have been posting about what books I unhauled and then another monthly post I have been sharing what books I physically bought in the month.

Are you a constant book buyer? Can you resist buying books on a weekly bases? Please tell me I am not alone in this?

This is going to be probably a huge unhauling since its been like 5 months since I shared what I have unhauled. These books have been read and have been stacking up beside my desk.

Good Monday morning everyone. For the past two years I have been sharing with you the books that I have unhauled from my collection. I started doing this in 2015 and at that time I  released 211 books and then last year due to life happening I missed months sharing what I unhauled and it went undocumented so the only number I have is 124 from the months I did share.

I am going to make 2017 a better year in sharing what books I am unhauling. As a book blogger and a book reader I don’t tend to keep the books once I read them unless there is a special meaning for them so I always pass them along to friends and family. As you can probably see the last time I did an unhauling post was in February.

Since it was a rainy long Victoria Day weekend in Canada I decided that I was going to go through some boxes and I have a massive unhauling post. It feels good to finally go through my books and pass what I am no longer wanting to read or that I have read and was holding onto them. Sadly this made only a little dent in my pile but still a little bit at a time. More unhauling posts to come.

I told myself  New Year’s Eve that I really needed to do a major clean up and major purge of the items in the house that aren’t being used and that is taking up space. One of the items is books and if you could see my bookcases and tons of boxes in the basement you would see that, that is one of the issues and one of the things taking up most of the space so I am making it my mission in 2017 to get that all cleaned up and purge what I have read and know I won’t reread as well as purging the books that I no longer have a desire to read.
