Upcoming Author Event with Sarah Mlynowski

I was super excited when I got an email from my contact at Scholastic Books Canada letting me know that Sarah Mlynowski was going to be coming to my area for a book signing.

Sarah will be lauching her first middle grade series called Whatever After.

About the book:
Mirror, Mirror, on the basement wall…

Once upon a time my brother and I were normal kids. Then next minute? The mirror in our basement slurped us up and magically transported us inside Snow White’s fairytale.

I know it sounds crazy but it’s true.

But hey — we’re heroes! We stopped Snow White from eating the poisoned apple. Hooray! Or not, If Snow White doesn’t die, she won’t get to meet her prince. An then she won’t get her happy ending. Oops.

Now it’s up to us to:

• Avoid getting poisoned
• Sneak into a castle
• Fix Snow White’s story

And then, fingers crossed, find our way home.

Sarah will be reading from and signing copies of this delightful new book (and will, of course be happy to sign copies of her YA books as well)

I plan on bringing the following to get signed:

I am hoping that she will sign a label for me because I just ordered Whatever After from Michael’s scholastic and I’m not sure I will get the book in time for the signing. Although I have my fingers crossed that it will come in quickly like it did the last time.

I will be there and will have a post and pics following the event.
