I really loved the idea of this being a week long event instead of a 24 or a 48 hour event. With that being said I feel as though I didn’t get alot done or as much as I wanted.
I went into this read-a-thon with a set list of books (6-7) that I wanted to read and I think I might have set my goal a little to high and I think this is why I feel a little bummed.
I managed to read three books:
~The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer (I actually ended up finishing this one up so would that count?)
I didn’t get to comment on as many blogs as I would have liked but I did discover a ton of great blogs and added a bunch to my blog roll that I am looking forward to checking out in the next little while.
I am looking forward to taking part in the next read a thon. How did you do?

Did Michael participate with you? It sounds like you did well to me.
Hi Cindy — good read-a-thon results. 3 books is nothing to sneeze at. I was so lucky this time around to be on holiday during the entire Bout of Books, so I got a lot more reading done than if it were a normal work week. It was good to meet you (as it were) during the event. See you at Bout of Books 6.0.
Another Beautiful Disaster reader! I really need to pick that book back up. *sigh* Hope you had fun this week 😉 See you in January at Bout-of-Books 6.0
I am so curious to see what you thought of The Land of Stories. I hope you post your review soon to put me out of my misery.
There is nothing wrong with setting high goals, attempting them is half the fun!
