Books Bought Meme is a weekly (or basically whenever you buy books) meme that you share with your readers the books you bought. You list the books that you physically bought and paid for. They can be books you bought online, at any kind of store, yard sales, library sales etc..you get the idea.

This will be a first for me, I actually bought NO books this week. The reason I didn’t buy any books was because I was on vacation and I was in Lake George, NY and I couldn’t find a book store and if any stores had books they were just paper backs on a spiral rack and it was stuff I had already.
This past week I have made myself a promise to start cutting back on my book buying and try to limit myself to perhaps buy a book or two (probably more, LOL knowing me) monthly. I think being away from my house made me realize that when I came back I have way too many books that I really need to read first.
So yea I will attempt to restrain myself. Please feel free to remind me if you see me posting weekly that I bought books.

The only book I bought this week was for Carl. I downloaded a free e-version of Uglies and he read it and was hooked, so I bought him Pretties yesterday.

Well, guess that is not the same as no new books for you, as you probably have yet another mailbox stuffed with books.
Hope your vacation was fun and relaxing. I’ve barely been online last week – I have so many blogs I want to visit now and leave comments on this week.
There must be something in the air because I didn’t buy anything this week either! Usually I’m at the bookstore first thing in the morning when it opens but this weekend I was so lazy!
