Synopsis:
On her seventeenth birthday, Katie discovers a locket and decides to wear it for good luck. But when her boyfriend Isaac finds out she cheated on him with their mutual best friend Mitch, he no less dumps her, leaving her devastated.

And then a miracle happens. The locket burns on Katie’s chest and she feels herself going back two weeks in time, to the night she cheated with Mitch. At first, Kate is delighted to be a better girlfriend to Isaac this time around. But as other aspects of her life become inexplicably altered, she realizes that changing the past may have had a dangerous effect on her present.

Can she make things right before the locket destroys everything and everyone she loves?

MY THOUGHTS:
Quite a few years ago I read alot of time travel romance books but within time I got tired of them and stopped reading them. When I heard about this one I really wanted to read it and I have to say I really enjoyed it and read it fairly quickly. There were slight things about the book that bothered me such as when she went back the changes that had happened didn’t really make sense because she didn’t go back that far in time it was only two weeks. For me that didn’t make sense because she went back to change the situation she was in.

I am sure we can all honestly agree that we wish we had this locket at least once in our lives so that we could do a do over right? Would you do it or leave as is? I know I so wish I would have had this locket quite a few times in my life so that I could do a do over, but as I was reading this book I have to say I changed my mind about it and realize that things happen for a reason. Sure I wish there were things I didn’t do (and embarrass myself and listen to a friend instead of my heart) but looking back had I not done it would I still have the friendship I now have today?

Katie has made what she thinks is the biggest mistake of her life, cheating on her boyfriend of three years, Isaac. He is her only boyfriend and that he is the one and only. They have even spoken about getting married when they are older. Things changed one night when Katie feels disappointed and hurt because Isaac has blown her off. Mitch, their mutual best friend is there for Katie in more ways then one.

Isaac finds out that Katie has cheated on him and wants nothing more to do with her. Katie is upset and wishes for nothing more but to correct that time in her life and is given that chance from a magical locket that she thinks belongs to her grandmother. Going back in time (two weeks) as altered the world. Things aren’t exactly as they were in the future such as her friends are a little different and the coffee shop logo has changed. She doesn’t let these things bother her but gradually they are starting to freak her out and she gets scared. What has she done?

Will going back in time actually make Katie the better girlfriend to Isaac or will it open her eyes to the fact that what was basically right under her nose, Mitch was the better choice? Will she realize this before its too late for her and everyone?

I really enjoyed this book and I have to say I am looking forward to reading future books by Stacey and her previous books as well:
