Amy from My Friend Amy’s Blog is hosting the 2nd annual Fall Recipe Exchange this year. For some reason last year I missed this one.
Here’s how it works. You dig through your recipes and come up with something delish to share with Amy and her readers and well my readers too! On October 14th, post it on your blog and then jet back over to My Friend Amy’s Blog, drop your link in the Mister linky and scoot on around to all of the other participating blogs so that you’ll have the YUMMIEST season of the best food yet. Amy is also planning on having a few giveaways, nothing huge just some low key fun as well.
I was trying to think to what I wanted to share with you and the first thing that came to mind was this:
Its called Hot Spiced Apple Juice. I have a similar drink when I go to our monthly book blogger meet ups and just love it. So I have been trying to find the recipe and this one comes pretty close to what I get at our meet ups.
Hot Spiced Apple Juice
-2 litres of fresh apple juice (I have used regular kinds as well)
-2 sticks of cinnamon
-2 each of whole spice and cloves
-brown sugar to taste (this is optional)
Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil and then let simmer for 15 minutes. Strain.
Enjoy!
Please let me know if you are going to post a recipe so that I can check it out and don’t forget to go to My Friend Amy’s Blog to share your post.
