(Meme) Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They love sharing their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week they post a new Top Ten subject. You can read their answers weekly. Everyone is welcome to join and all you have to do is link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND sign Mister Linky at the bottom to share with them and all those who are participating. If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Don’t worry if you can’t come up with ten every time…just post what you can!

As you can see I don’t do alot of Top Ten Tuesday posts but this week I wanted to take part and share with you my TOP TEN FAVORITE AUTHORS. I was able to complete this within seconds of reading it.

  1. Wow, I’m impressed that you could come up with a top 10 – I don’t think I could do it!

  2. When I was stuck at home with a newborn baby and suffering a bout of post-partum depression, I was given a Sophie Kinsella book by my sister. I read it and it made me laugh. I read the rest of the Shopaholic series and met the author when she was in Montreal promoting her latest book two years ago.

  3. I’ve read Sophie Kinsella, but I think that’s it. I liked the Shopaholic series for the first 2, maybe 3 books — then I just got too exasperated to continue!

  4. The only author I have read is Sophie Kinsella and I really liked the book I read by her.

  5. Hey! I just found your blog over at Book Loving Mommy… lovin it so far! I am a new follower. You can check out my blog and follow me back if you want…have a great day!

  6. James Patterson also made my list! I have tried a Sophie Kinsella novel, but didn’t really enjoy it. I do plan on trying her books again in the future, as I know many people that just LOVE her books. It may have been my mood at the time, as I am a bit of a mood reader!
    My list is at http://lusravesandrants.blogspot.com/2010/10/top-ten-tuesday.html

  7. My favorite on your list is Holly Black.

You have some widely divergent favorites.

I am a new follower! Stop by my blog if you like and see my favorites and follow back.

  8. I only know a few of these authors, will have to met some of the others.
