This week’s prompt is:
10 Wishes I’d Ask The Book Genie To Grant Me (a new book from a certain author,  a reading superpower, a library that is your absolutely #librarygoals, a character to come to life, to met a certain author etc. etc.) YOU DREAM IT AND THE BOOKISH GENIE CAN DO IT.
I love today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt, don’t you? Who doesn’t like to dream? I mean if you are going to dream, dream big or go home I say…
Dear Book Genie, please find enclosed my Top Ten wishes that are in no particular order.
  1. I would love to have the ability to read like my favorite character from Criminal Minds, Spencer Reid. Can you image how many books you could? That would be a great way to clear your TBR pile.
  2. Since I would like to speed read, I would need a way to get my reviews done just as quickly so I would love to be able to think about the review as I am reading and some how have it connected to the computer so that it could write my review for me.
  3. I would love to have a library like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
  4. I would love to have all expense paid trips to all the book conventions in the world. I have only ever been to BEA in NYC but how fun would it be to go to ALA, RT Booklovers Convention, etc
  5. I would love it if all books in a series were matching in format, height and cover design.
  6. I would love to read all day so I would need to be able to split myself up so that I can do household chores.
  7. I would love to have an unlimited book budget to buy all the books I want
  8. I would love to have the subsciption services that are book related monthly
  9. I would love for my book blogger friends to get their wishes.
  10. Finally I would love to be able to see my book blogger friends more often then once ever two years.

What would you as the for?

Today’s topic is: Ten Authors I Own The Most Books From

Today is another Top Ten Tuesday that I am excited to answer.  As you might know I normally don’t keep my books once I am done reading them but there are some that I keep due to the fact that they are signed, have beautiful covers or are authors that I love.

Here is my Top Ten list:

  1. V.C Andrews. I use to read each and everyone of the books once they came out but over the past few years I have stopped reading them but still continue to buy them in hopes that I will pick them up to read.
  2. James Patterson. I know I need to catch up I am a few books behind\
  3. Terry Spear. If you follow my blog you know how much I love reading her books.
  4. Geronimo Stilton. This isn’t really mine but Michael’s
  5. Thea Stilton. This is another one that is Michael’s
  6. Judy Blume
  7. Melissa Marr
  8. Cassandra Clare
  9. Kathy Reichs
  10. Scott Westerfield

So that is my list. Do you have any authors that you  collect?

Today’s top is Top Ten Blogging Confessions

Its been quite a while since I have take part in a Top Ten Tuesday and I love today’s topic so I thought I would share my Top Ten Blogging Confessions.

  1. I still get excited when I see a package hanging out of my mailbox, between the doors or when a delivery guy rings the bell to hand me a package. Its been six years and this feeling never gets old.
  2. I wish I could be more creative and come up with fun and exciting things for my blog. It feels like I come up with a good idea and then when I go searching someone else is doing it.
  3. I was pretty good and reading then reviewing right away but once I knew school was ending I slipped and now I am behind in my reviews. Why does this happen?
  4. I can’t go into a book store and leave without buying something.
  5. I have way too many books in my TBR that its a little embarrassing when family and friends come over. There is a huge pile in the corner and my book cases are double/triple stacked and thats not even including the boxes (numerous) that I have in my basement and my cedar chest is completely full…
  6. I only make use of the public library in the summer because we are there so often for various library activities for my son. The rest of the year I am lazy about returning books and then I usually get late fees.
  7. I have yet to read the really popular books that everyone is talking about for fear I won’t enjoy them as much. Examples are The Fault in Out Stars, The Lunar Chronicles, The Chemical Garden, and so many others.
  8. I love my blog and sharing my thoughts but at times I wonder if anyone is really reading what I write? I see that people are coming to my blog because of the page views.
  9. I sometimes bite off more then I can chew when it comes to books, tours etc I often over book myself and don’t realize it until I sit to prepare the blog for the following week.
  10. My final confession is jealousy. I am sure you can relate to this… I am okay with the books that bloggers get because if I see something I really want then I add it to my wishlist to purchase when it comes out, I am talking about all the opportunities some bloggers get such as getting to meet authors at events and interview them one on one, getting to take part in publisher events at their offices etc. I am lucky enough that when I go to BEA to take part in a event here and there and for those I am very thankful for. I think it has to do with the feeling of being a blogger for six years and just wanting to have something to show for it. Does that make sense? Perhaps its due to my location.

So that is my Top Ten Blogging Confessions, do we share the same ones?
