July 2016 Books Bought

Its hard to believe its that time of the week for another mailbox post.
The hosts of the mailbox memes are:

Tynga’s Reviews is the host of Stacking the Shelves and the other host is Mailbox Monday which now has its own blog.

Mailbox Monday will no longer be hosted monthly by different bloggers.

I am also going to be taking part in the Bought, Borrowed and Bagged (BB&B) that is hosted by Frankie AKA Braine over at http://www.talksupeblog.com/ . This is a weekly meme where you share what books you have bought, borrowed or bagged (this would be books you won or that were gifted to you).

Good Morning everyone. Sorry that I have been basically MIA for the past little while but I have been busy the past few weeks with swimming lessons, afternoon parks program, volunteering at the library (Michael needs to do 20 hours of volunteer work as part of the academic plus program at high school) and vacation. There just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day and usually after supper I end up crashing on the couch watching Corrie and the other summer games shows etc.

This month I have another big haul. I know I said that this was suppose to be a no spend month but as you can see I got carried away. I need an intervention!

Sorry there is no photos this time around as I am trying to get a few things printed before going to bed. I am meeting up with Tina from BookShipper for breakfast tomorrow as its our monthly get together.

Total books bought in 2016: 98

Total coloring books bought in 2016: 9 +1 for Michael

Total books read from this purchase: 9

Total books read from 2016 haul:  33

I should have put this in my June Books Bought post but I just wanted to do a six month update: Total number of books bought was 77 (that includes the ones I bought for Michael) and I have read 24 of those books.

  1. At least you’re reading the books you bought! I buy them and then they linger on my shelves.

    • Kathy, when I started to clean my bookcases earlier this year I allowed myself one shelf for books that I bought this year and once that shelf got filled I have to make it a point to read them and I am slowly making my way through them.

  2. So many new books this month, and you’ve already read so many of them!
