Library Loot #1 of Summer 2016 – June 6th – 11th

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Linda from Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Now that the nicer weather is upon us I have decided to hit up the library once again and it actually forces me to get out of the house more, plus I know once Michael is done school he will be volunteering at the library so we will practically be living there.

Plus I have been buying a lot of books lately and I need to curb that spending just a little bit and I am thinking this summer I need to put myself on a NO BUY.

This week I went to the library on a mission to get:

The Good Girl by Mary Kubica.  I have read Pretty Baby and Don’t You Cry and loved them so I had I had to pick up her first book. The cover is so pretty. I was thrilled when I spotted this on the shelf so I borrowed it.
I also picked up We Were Liars by E. Lockhart because this has actually been something I have wanted to read but never picked it up so my plan is to scratch this off my list to read.
Finally the last book I picked up is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. This is also another book that I have been wanting to read and its been on my wishlist for ever so I nabbed this as well.

So this is what I borrowed from the library this week. Did you borrow from your library this week?

  1. I liked The Good Girl! And some day I’ll get to We Were Liars.

    • I can’t wait to read The Good Girl. I have no idea what I am doing to do now because I am almost done her books. Hopefully something will be coming out soon

  2. I haven’t been to the library in a while. I’ve heard All the Bright Places is wonderful.
