Tynga’s Reviews is the host of Stacking the Shelves and the other host is Mailbox Monday which now has its own blog.
Mailbox Monday will no longer be hosted monthly by different bloggers.
I am also going to be taking part in the Bought, Borrowed and Bagged (BB&B) that is hosted by Frankie AKA Braine over at http://www.talksupeblog.com/ . This is a weekly meme where you share what books you have bought, borrowed or bagged (this would be books you won or that were gifted to you).
Good morning everyone. I hope you are having a good weekend so far.
I am hoping for a quite and relaxing day and that I well get pampered and spoiled because its my birthday today. I have requested that we do dinner at home (three cheese pasta and roasted vegetable dish) with a yummy cake for dessert. I would love to stay in my pjs fingers crossed.
A little awhile ago Chapters had a promotion going that if you spend $50 you got 25% off so Jennifer and I took advantage of the promotion and we did some shopping. So this is the goodies from that excursion.
I decided to pick up Free To Fall by Lauren Miller because I have been hearing some good things about this book and its been on my wishlist for quite some time now.
Meet Me Under The Mistletoe by Abby Clements has a beautiful cover and this picture doesn’t do it justice. It was a bargain book for $4.99 so why not pick it up.
This was another bargain book ($5), Christmas at Tiffany’s by Karen Swan also has another beautiful cover that the picture doesn’t do it justice. It takes place in my three favorite cities, NYC, London and Paris.
I normally don’t read Harlequin romance but I was looking for a quick Christmas read and I spotted An Amish Noel by Patricia Davids.
The Crystal Kingdom by Amanda Hocking is the third and final book in the series and I can’t wait to binge read this series now.
#Scandal by Sarah Ockler was also on the bargain table for ($5) so I decided to grab this since this has also been on my wish list of books for awhile.
This isn’t a book but a magazine and its Ricardo’s Best Cookies. I am always looking to try and find something new to bake and figured I would pick this up.
So that is what I purchased this time around. How did you do?
