Its hard to believe its that time of the week for another mailbox post.

Mailbox Monday will no longer be hosted monthly by different bloggers.

I know I really need to stop buying books but its so hard not too.

Every Friday I meet up with a friend and we go to our self defence class and then afterwards we hit up Starbucks to catch up on the week as we both usually have a lot to talk about or to rant about and it feels so good to talk to someone who completely understands what your going through. After that we usually walk around chapters and pick up some books.

This week I went a little over board and got:

This one is for Michael because he enjoyed the first two books in the Platypus Police Squad Series.

The City and Midnight Crossroad were 2 for $15 so I decided to take part in that promotion. I enjoyed previous Dean Koontz books in the past and I would like to continue reading what I missed and the same thing goes for Charlaine Harris’s books.
I have been trying to borrow this one from the library and there is a waiting list and I figured it was easier for me to buy the paper back to read and the borrow the rest when they become available. This will probably come with me to NYC to read on the train.
I was walking past the children’s section to look for Michael’s book when I spotted this and I have to say the cover really caught my eye and this picture doesn’t do the book justice so I had to pick it up.
Finally the last book has been on my wishlist since Pam from mentioned being her agent. I figured if Pam was her agent then the book must be really good so when I saw it on the shelf I went ahead and picked it up.

I also got a super cute tote bag, some more owl note cards that were on sale and some metallic tattoos.

So yea I went over board once again, I know and bea is in 18 days, did I really need to go and spend that money on those books?

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

  1. Awesome haul of books. I really like that tote bag. That Tote bag is awesome and amazing. I hope you love all your new books this week.
