Good Morning everyone. It was another busy week this past week. We have completed two weeks of school and home work is slowly coming in which is always fun and pre camp of hockey has also come and gone and we are now looking at evaluations.

I have no idea how Michael will place in this new division since he will be first year of PeeWee. So this will be fun. Will I be a team manager again? Well that will depend on what the coach has in mind. So I will keep you posted.

This week we didn’t get anything for review and that is okay. I have to admit that I did buy some books this week. Michael had a gift card he had gotten in a goodie bag from a party he recently went to and I had a gift card I got when I went to chapters before school started and it was going to expire so I wanted to take advantage of that since it was $10.

This is what we picked up:

alittlesomethingdifferent

A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall (I love the cover and its so pretty)

theirontrial

The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare. (Another amazing cover and this was on my wishlist since I first heard about this book.)

thefirstmouseonthemoon

This is #14 in the Geronimo Stilton graphic novels. Michael still loves reading Geronimo Stilton.

So this is what we got in our mailbox this past week. Hope you all had a good week 🙂

Comments

  1. First Mouse on the Moon looks like a cute children’s book! Enjoy!

  2. The books you bought are like night and day. 🙂 I hope you both enjoy your books!

  3. I need to write my review of The Iron Trial, but sadly it kind of made me mad. It’s like a watered down version of Harry Potter. I guess I expected more of Holly Black?

    I bought 4 books this week. 4! I’m a bad girl. 😉

  4. The Iron Trial was good. I enjoyed it a lot. Nice selection.
