Can you believe that this is the last week of August? I am still in shock at how fast this summer flew by. Where did the time go?

Michael will be back in school on Tuesday and not quite sure how he feels about it (I know I am not ready at all). This is his last year in elementary school and this time next year he will be getting ready to enter high school. Where does the time go?

So I am writing this Friday afternoon because today (Saturday) I am currently in Plattsburgh NY doing some back to schoool/grocery shopping. #feelingspendy

This past week I didn’t get any books to review but we did buy some books.

For Me:

-The Dare by Hannah Jayne
-Dream Boy by Mary Crockett and Madelyn Rosenberg
-The Girl Who Never Was by Skylar Dorset

For Michael:

-Lego Ninjago  All new Full-Color Graphic Novels

  • #2 Mask of the Sensei
  • #5 Kingdom of the Snakes
  • #6 Warriors of Stone
  • #9 Night of the Nindroids
  • #10 Who is The Phantom Ninja?

Michael is really enjoying the graphic novels. We are just waiting for #3 & #7 to come in as we had to order them online.

So that is all that we got this week, what about you?

Comments

  1. Sometimes that is nice. it gives us a chance to catch up with all of those books. Enjoy this long weekend.

  2. All of your new books are new to me. I hope you’re having fun on your trip.

  3. Ooooh, I like all the books you got! The covers and titles just call to me!

I picked up a copy of White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout because I didn’t have a physical copy since I read a tour book. And I think I probably picked up an audio book or two, because I have an addiction. No, don’t try to stop me. I’ve been known to bite and kick. 😉

  4. My kids both don’t want to go back to school. Summer went by too quickly. Hope you and Michael enjoy your new books!
