The Mailbox Post (January 28th -Feb 2nd)

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia  . In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn’t want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end.

The host for January is Lori from Lori’s Reading Corner

The host for February is Audra from Unbridged Chick .

My fellow Montreal blogger, Tynga is  doing a mailbox post called:

Tynga’s Reviews is hosting this meme and you can check out this link to find out more about it .

As you can see lately that my mailbox has been fairly quiet with books coming in to review and purchasing. Although this week is the exception to the rule. The January Scholastic book club forms were given out and I jumped at some amazing deals and books they were offering for January. I was surprised at how fast some of the books came in. Please note that this is only the first part of our order.

For me:
 ~Human.4 by Mike A Lancaster
~Legend by Marie Lu (I have been anxiously awaiting for this book to come out in paperback so when I saw that Scholastic had it, I knew I had to get it)
~The Encyclopedia of Me by Karen Rivers (this is told in encyclopedia format, interesting)

For Michael:
This was a 5 book pack with a hockey stick pencil and sharpener. The titles includeHow to Outplay a Bully by Nancy Wilcox Richards, Foul Play by Karen Edwards, The Rink Rats by Irene Punt, The Wicked Slapshot by Irene Punt and Hockey Rules by Irene Punt.

For Review:
~D’Lish Deviled Eggs by Kathy Casey

Freebie of the Week:

I got this braceelet from U Kotex with a coupon for $1 off.

So what did you get in your mailbox this past week?
