The Mailbox Post (Feb 4th – 9th)

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia  . In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn’t want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end.

The host for February is Audra from Unbridged Chick .

My fellow Montreal blogger, Tynga is  doing a mailbox post called:

Tynga’s Reviews is hosting this meme and you can check out this link to find out more about it .

Its been a very quite mailbox week this past week as you can see put none the less it was a good week.

For Review I only got two books and they were D’list Deviled Eggs (yup I got a second copy of the book. I plan on donating this to my local library) and then I got Highland Werewolf Wedding by the totally awesome Terry Spear. Thank you Danielle from Sourcebooks for sending me this. I love Terry’s books and can’t wait to read this one.

So this past week Michael was home from school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with a sore throat and slight fever and he finally went back to school on Thursday and came home with the rest of our scholastic order. We bought:

For Michael:

  • Phineas & Ferb Skateboard Adventure
  • 101 Hockey Jokes by Kara Woodburn with a hockey stick pencil and sharpener
  • The Quiz Book for Spies by H. Becker with a moustache eraser
  • Phineas & Ferb off the Map
  • Learn to Draw Angry Birds with a pack of pencil crayons

For myself:

  • The Limit by Kristen Landon (this sounds really good)
  • Blindsided by Priscilla Cummings (this is another one that sounds really good)
  • The Raft by S.A Bodeen
  • Bad Kitty School Daze

Then finally I got a package from a facebook friend. She was gracious enough to pick me up this Essence mini Lipgloss set in C U in London. When I was in Ottawa last week we were in a Shoppers Drug Mart and I grabbed the NYC one and contemplated picking this one up and didn’t and all the way home regreted it. Thanks to facebook friends who offer to help you out. Thanks so very much Colleen I appreciate it.

So that is what I got this week in my mailbox what did you get? Does anything interest you?
