On My Wishlist

Its been awhile since I have done an On My Wishlist post. If you are new to my blog I should let you know that On My Wishlist that is hosted by Book Chick City. If you haven’t checked out her blog yet then you really should.

I am trying to think when the last time I did an On My Wishlist post and realized that its been awhile. I think it was late 2010. I always love reading other bloggers post about wishlist books. What a great way to find out about books you might normal hear about.

This wishlist post will be a little different because as you know BEA (Book Expo America) is happening next week in NYC so all these are books are going to be at BEA this year.

I know last year before I was leaving to go to BEA I was able to get a list of Galley books that will be given out at BEA and I was able to get a few off that list. So I figured I would share with you the books that are coming out that I am anxious to read this year.

This is the second book in the series by Ally Condie. Last year I was lucky enough to get Matched at BEA.

This is James final book in the Maze Runners series.
This is Lauren’s third book in the Fallen series.
This is also the third and final book in the steampunk series.

No covers for these yet:
Liesl and Po by Lauren Oliver
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler
Modelland by Tyra Banks

These are ones I can’t find anything one:
~All These Things I’ve Done by Gabrielle Zevin
~Ten Rules for Living with my sister by Ann M. Martin
~The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater (Scholastic)
~Magic Most foul by Leanna ReneeHieber (Sourcebooks)

So if I was going to BEA this year, these would be the books I would be looking for. What are you most anticipated reads for 2011?

Comments

  1. I have some of those books on my list. I do have a pic of scorpio races.

  2. You know more about the books at BEA than I do!

  3. I already had several of these on my wishlist, especially the series, but now that I’ve read your post I have plenty more! Soooo many good books!!

I’ve never been to BEA but I hope to go next year. Although I don’t know if I could take the excitement of so many authors, bloggers and books! It makes me drool to think about it!! πŸ˜€

  4. The cover of Crossed, in comparison to Matched, looks a lot like the difference between Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Just saying. :O)

  5. I can’t wait for Goliath! I hope all your wishes come true πŸ™‚
