The Mailbox Post

As you know Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. Marcia has decided to put Mailbox Monday on a blog tour and for the month of January the Mailbox Monday host is Gilion and she blogs over at Rose City Reader.

I was initially going to do a vlog (I am super excited about the books I got this week and wanted to share them with you) but for some reason the first time I recorded it, it wouldn’t upload and I lost it and then the second time it turned out horrible so I will have to do pictures instead.
Hmmm I wonder what books I got this past week? Here are some hints….they are all YA books, all out this month and I know some of you might be anxious to read them.

I must apologize for the amount of pictures but I have to for once say that I absolutely love all the covers for the books I got. What do you think?

The first book I got is XVI by Julia Karr and I want to thank Penguin Canada for sending this out to me. Look for a review later this month. I absolutely love the cover for this one as well as the spine.

Across the universe by Beth Revis is also from Penguin Canada so thank you Penguin Canada for this one. Another cover love. Plus on the reverse side of the cover is a space ship how cool is that?

Last but not least is The Water Wars by Cameron Stracher and I have to thank Sourcebooks for sending me this. I absolutley love love ths cover. Is it gorgeous? I love how it wraps around the entire book.

Well this is what books came to my door, what about you?

  1. I am so jealous of your mailbox! Can’t wait to see reviews of XVI and Water Wars. 🙂

  2. You’re braver than I am attempting a vlog – I’m sure I’d get all tongue tied and silly. All of your titles look fantastic – perfect for cold weather reading.
