Mailbox Monday & Books Bought

As you know Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. Marcia has decided to put Mailbox Monday on a blog tour and for the month of November Mailbox Monday is being hosted by Julie from Knitting and Sundries. So be sure to hop over to Julie’s blog to see what she and others got and while your there leave a link for your own Mailbox Monday post.

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house during the previous week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists!

For review I got Rendezvous & Spotlight by Melody Carlson. This is book three and four in the On The Runway Series. Rendezvous came out in September and I believe Spotlight is now out too.

I meant to redo this picture but as you can see I didn’t so this is books bought and books borrowed.

-Virals by Kathy Reichs
-Oh No, She Didn’t by Clinton Kelly
-Impossible by Nancy Werlin

-Hex Hall by Rachael Hawkins

As you can see school is back and this is the books Michael got from scholastic order.

This past week I bought two cds (sorry the other one isn’t photographed). The first one I bought was The Rocky Horror GLEE Show. I am a huge Glee fan and I have all the cds put out. I love the songs they cover.

The second one I got was Michael Buble Hollywood deluxe ep. Of course you all know that I am a huge fan. I love this cd because there is his newest song Hollywood on it plus some live versions of some of my favorite songs (at this moment and haven’t met you yet)as well as some new to me songs that I think he only does in concert and I think they are cover songs.

So this is what I got, what about you?

  1. Nice mailbox list. I’d love to read Clinton Kelly’s book while listening to Michael Buble 🙂

  2. Hm, I thought you had a book buying ban going! LOL I’m anxious to read Virals!

  3. I like the cover of Rex Hall – it looks creepy 😉 Enjoy your books, Cindy!

  4. Kathy what me on a book buying ban? LOL yea i really need to be on one. Hmm perhaps I will start that in January 2011.

  5. Michael Buble makes me smile! I’ll have to check that cd out!

  6. Can’t wait to see what you think of Virals; it is on my wishlist. I’m also interested in Hex Hall; some of the reviews have been mixed, but I still think my Not-So-Bebe Girl Autumn would like it!

Bebe Boy James loves when there’s a Scholastic Book Fair at his school – last time, we visited twice and he ended up with six new books!

  7. My daughter loves ordering from Scholastic, as if she needs anymore books! 😉 Happy reading!
