In My Mailbox/Mailbox Monday & Books Bought #40

Its hard to believe we are already into the month of May, wow where did the time go?

Its Monday so you know what that means? Its time for In My Mailbox/Mailbox Monday. I know I haven’t posted this meme in awhile and that’s because I haven’t really gotten that much lately.

Anyways, Kristi from The Story Siren hosts on Sundays In My Mailbox and Marcia from The Printed Page hosts on Mailbox Monday. You can check out both their blogs to see what they and others got this past week in the mail.

Although you must be warned that viewing this could lead to excessive book buying and a toppling to be read pile.

I am also including in this post my Books Bought that I am hosting on my blog. Books Bought is a meme where I highlight the books I bought in a week, a month or whenever.

  1. I loved going to the school book fairs. They were always such fun. Enjoy all your great new books!

  2. You had a good week! The Book of Awesome sounds fantastic!

  3. Looks like you found a great book list there. Recently I purchased a new Mike Hogan book called, “The Ovary Wars,” which is about a sudden population decline. The FBI needs to find out whether it is terrorism, a virus, a cult – I don’t want to give the exciting ending away, but will tell you that it’s a very thought provoking mystery that kept me intrigued until the very end. You should check it out!

  4. My kids have switched to a French school and they don’t do any Scholastic Book Fairs, which I miss from my kids’ last school. I have approached the principal to see if we can get one going for next year. Great books you got for you and Michael! My daughter likes Tea Stilton. I’m going to have to introduce my son to Geronimo if I can pry him away from the dinosaur and whale books! Happy reading.
