Wreck This Journal- 2nd (week felt uncreative)

Its hard to believe that I am going into my third week of Wreck This Journal. I am late posting this weeks update because it was another busy weekend. Plus I have to admit that I wasn’t fully prepared to have this posted Saturday night.

I had a slow start to the week because that weekend of the first week we have company in town that were from out of town so we were super busy running around and honestly the first part of the week I didn’t have my creative juices flowing.

I begin my Wreck This Journal on Sunday and you just had to cover this page with white things. Its still a bit of work in progress as I was getting Michael to help me search out white things to use. We are still on the look out for white things. I will update when completed.

Monday was another one of those lets doing some scavenger hunting for random things and this too is still a work in progress for the both of us. I will update when its completed

Tuesday was sort of a blah day and I wasn’t feeling all that creative so I looked for a simple thing to do and this was it, Trace Your Hand. Sorry nothing very fancy.

I thought this was perfect for Wednesday pretty simple enough keep track of time. As you can see I lead such an exciting life. I should have waited to this one either on a Friday when I have lunch with Donna or Sunday at our meet up. That one would have been fun to read LOL hmm perhaps at the next meet up.

Thursday was a rough day for me. What a great way to take out your frustration. hmm Need to do that more often.

Friday I had to write with a pen in my mouth and that was so hard to do. Not sure if you are able to read it or not.

Saturday I was in a blah mood so this was all I did.

This is what I did the past week. Another blogger Marie from Lazy Daisy also decided to join me in my journey and you can check out her blog to see what she did this past week as well.

Check back next week to see what other destructive things I did to Wreck This Journal.

  1. Lol, this sounds like fun. Are you really considering bringing this journal to our next meet-up? I’d take a look.

Aha! I see there’s a bus ticket on one of the pages. =)

  2. Sorry you had an uncreative, blah week. It looks like you’re having fun with your journal.

  3. Even though you felt uncreative, you did lots in your journal. Good job. You can always go back to any of the pages and add more stuff later when you feel like it. It never has to be “done”….now there’s a scary thought. Forget I said that. 😉

  6. I think you did a great job on your journal this week. This really looks like fun. I think it would be fun for all ages!

  7. Ah – the scribble! Such fun. Especially when frustrated/angry. Throwing your journal against the wall would result in the same stress release too and qualify as destructive behavior ;0)

  8. After reading about this book on Marie’s blog, I bought one for my daughter. She has had it less than a week and it already looks like its gone through a war zone. The back cover fell off today and she used bandages and Hotwheel stickers to stick it back on. I have to do a post about that tomorrow and will link with both of you.

  9. I had this journal on my wishlist for Christmas last year. I didn’t get it, but I think that I will buy one. This will be a great project for my 8 year old daughter and I to do together. Thank you for showing us your progress.
