On My Wishlist

I have to thank Kathy from Bermudaonion for telling me that the person responsible for this meme is Book Chick City . I was originally calling this Wishlist Wednesday but since discovering that someone was doing this so I will be linking back to Book Chick City. Thanks Book Chick City for coming up with this meme.

Book Chick City is hosting this weekly meme to share the books that are on her wish list and as book lovers I am sure we all have a wishlist of books we would love to read. Me included.

Please note that this could lead to excessive book buying, library borrowing, towering TBR piles and long wish lists.

‘On My Wishlist’ is posted every Wednesday. If you would like to join in all you have to do is click on Book Chick City and see her wish list and use Mr Linky with your link of your wishlist post. Then feel free to grab the On My Wishlist button and post your own ‘On My Wishlist’. It’s up to you how many books from your wishlist that you would like to share.

Deadly Little Lies by Laurie F Stolarz
PUB DATE: November 17th 2009

ABOUT THE BOOK: (This was taken from the publishers website)

Last fall, sixteen-year-old Camelia fell for Ben, the mysterious new boy at school who turned out to have a very mysterious gift & pyschometry, the ability to sense the future through touch.

But just as Camelia and Ben’s romance began to heat up, he abruptly left town. Brokenhearted, Camelia has spent the last few months studying everything she can about psychometry, and experiencing her own strange brushes with premonition.

Camelia wonders if Ben’s abilities have somehow rubbed off on her. Can the power of psychometry be transferred? Even once Ben returns to school, Camelia can’t get close enough to share her secret with him. Despite the romantic tension between them, Ben remains aloof, avoiding contact. Then when an unexpected kiss leads to a frightening argument, Camelia makes the painful decision to let Ben go and move on.

Adam, the hot new guy at work, seems good for her in ways Ben wasn’t. Adam is easygoing, and seems to really care about her. But when Camelia and Adam start dating, a surprising love triangle results. A chilling sequence of events upturns secrets from Ben’s past and Adam’s. Someone is lying, and it’s up to Camelia to figure out who-before it’s too late.

I have to say that I really love the cover.

  1. Maybe Santa Claus will discover this post! I love the cover of Deadly Little Lies. (Book Chic City does something similar to this – it’s called “On My Wishlist” or something like that.)

  2. Thanks Kathy for pointing that out to me. I just rewrote the post to reflect it.

This is also a new blogger that I will have to check her blog over. Thanks

  3. Hi Cindy, thank for participating in On My Wishlist and also for redoing your post, that was so sweet of you 🙂 Deadly Little Lies sounds really interesting, I hope you get to read it soon!
